Easy to build on and provides all of the features i was looking for! No update required either, ready to go right out of the box.

High quality budget motherboard with future upgradability! Wish you could change the color of the lights on it though.

There aren’t many options for micro-ATX AM4 boards, so competition is slim. But this board has been working well for me so far. Easy overclocking (although I’ve only overclocked RAM with it so far) and overall typical ASUS quality. Two fan headers, an RGB header, M.2 support, and 6 SATA ports (although worth noting that SATA ports 5 & 6 are disabled if you are using the M.2 slot).

Update: I was having boot issues. If I would shut down and then turn back on without cutting power at all (normal shut down, not a restart, and leaving the PSU on), the system would hang on the POST screen until I hit restart on the case, then turn on. But, updated to the latest BIOS and this issue is gone.

As a first time builder, this seemed great to work with. The manual makes that part easy enough, and there's really nothing negative I can say about it. There was a point where I felt that perhaps at this price point there may be better boards out there, but for a deal, this does exactly what it needs to.

This is an excellent motherboard! Everything works well and was/is super easy to setup! Search function is very helpful because some of the options do seem a bit buried.. only because there’s so many options! Asus AURA works with 4 pin LED. Great board and competitively priced.

This mobo is great for what i was wanting (had an m.2 slot, neutral black and silver design, and aura sync). Only complaint right now is that the dang IO shield sucks! I heard thats always a tough part of a build in general, but that was garbage trying to fit the mobo to the shield.

Motherboard: The Asus PRIME B450M works perfectly with the case I chose. My only complaint is the yellow LEDs, although I know they can be shut off in the BIOS. This board gives me space for RAM upgrade ability in the near future.

Very solid motherboard! I found it easy to work with, but it was a bit awkward for me at times. It has enough ports for my needs and I like the subdued looks of it in my case. The Asus Aura features are also a very nice touch. I've had no issues with the motherboard other than some awkward ergonomics with the initial building with the case. The IO shield is frustrating! Make sure you push some of the metal pin things out before putting your board in the case, it'll cause you trouble when fitting it into place.

Was really easy to set up and plays with RAM very nicely. Like the graphics on the pcb too.

I don't have the knowledge to judge the quality of a motherboard, however I am disappointed Asus doesn't provide a utility to patch a fix into USB Windows 7 installations. MSI and Asrock provide such tools and this board replaced a used Asrock board that ended up being DOA. The board has an 8 pin for the CPU but the case's included PSU only has a 4-pin. Since I'm not overclocking, the 4-pin connected to the 8-pin slot is working just fine.
