Very clear. Picks up a little too much but a little thought towards mic placement will help avoid that.

I've had this for a year and it sounds nice. I'm still not sure a condenser microphone was the best choice for me since I'm not in a totally quiet place but it's still good. There's 4 different settings and you can control the gain right on the back of the microphone. I'm sure you've heard this before, but the stock stand that it comes with is absolute garbage because it picks up every single vibration from the desk, whether you're typing or just using the mouse. So I got a cheap boom arm and shock mount and that seemed to fix it. I also use "Voicemeeter" with it to make it sound even better.

I was split on whether getting the yeti silver or the yeti snowball.. It was do i want something not too expensive but does what i want decently or do I want something more expensive but also does more than what i want to do. Bought the yeti and never looked back

    PROS
    - has alot of settings on where the direction of voice can come from
    - has mute, volume, and gain control
    - with gain control, you can determine how "sensitive" this mic will be hearing the sounds near it
    - has a headphone jack that allows you to hear yourself on the mic
    - good crisp sound IMO
    - connects to your pc with usb; it means no need for any other components to connect this mic to your pc

    Cons
    - connects to your pc with usb; it means quality is subpar if you have a really good sound card
    - price is expensive because it costs $100+

from completed build Watercooled Devils Canyon X9

Got this Mic for Twitch and YouTube but haven't actually used it for that much yet, though it has been used for in game voice on TS3 and Mumble and my friends say it sounds very clear.
