My SSD is under the MB. The case has sidemounts but I wanted as much to be out of sight as possible. EDIT: it is sidemounted in these pictures, but I have moved it to the bottom. I have a 2.5" HD down there with it as well now.

I didnt need to use any standoff screws. The case's stands were sufficient. Post pics once it's together!

You take all panels off including the bottom, rotate the frame 90º, then bolt the panels back on. The logo on the front comes off and rotates, and the power button can be moved.

My thinking is my graphics card plays a bigger role in benchmarks than the cpu, so the enhanced cooling would be better used there first. Right now I can't OC my gpu further because of cooling limitations while my cpu never breaks 60° even under load.
