Yeah, 16gb of ddr4 new is $160-170 right now.... and that for 2133 or 2400mhz. Right when I am starting to want to upgrade from 8gb.

No, as the amount of ram is duplicated. Raid 0 adds the disks together, so it is like raid 1, which mirrors the disks.

Not currently in gaming, but the 1400 does actually pull ahead in professional workloads as well as it may have a longer life span.

It typically should not be a problem if you are using usb 2.0. However, depending on the OS and the motherboard, 3.0 gets iffy at times.

To answer your question about 1080ti's for 1080p, one word. PUBG. So many (Not me) play it, and upgrade to ridiculous systems just to get 1080p ultra. Also, at one time, Ark:SE had the same draw and lack of optimization. So, yeah, I don't get it, but I know why they do it.

I get it, they are pretty much the best. They are just SO expensive! Of course, I'm not buying a 1080 and a 960 evo either. I just put a different budget on the system as a whole, as a student.
