Random question: with a 280mm you can't fit any fans to exhaust from the rear can you?
What kind of switch did you add? To turn it on?
So that monitor. How have you liked it so far? Is the HDR on it any good? Any light bleed? Anything negative about the monitor?
Can you please let me know what your Temps are under gaming load? I am really looking at this case for a build with a 2080 super instead.
Could you let me know what your GPU gaming temps look like?
What are your GPU temps under gaming load?
So no pics on the Emperium? xD
How's the monitor? Just a consumer review... Colors good? Gsync (freesync) works fine?
Looks amazing! did you remove the feet? Was it easy?
would you be able to take more pictures and show them to me? I am really interested in this build and would love to see more pictures of it before purchase.
So Freesync is not working for you? I want to get this monitor with a Radeon VIII so bad, but I can't seem to find any place where Freesync works. Can you give me an update?
Gaming with an Nvidia card have you noticed any issues?
I feel you. I have contemplated that but I really hate the Noctua brown color. xD
I agree I was thinking of going with two Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM at the bottom for intake and then x3 Noctua - NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM. one in the back and the side for exhaust and one to go on the Noctua air cooler.I think these are good. The Redux have more airflow than the Chromax ones so i went with these. I think this will move plenty of air. I'll connect the a12x25 for chassis and have them run at like 65% all the time. Considering they are so quiet at high RPMs it can just push air to the GPU and in the case.
Well tbh the V1's PSU really is trash. I would prefer to get the V2 instead of pay buying an additional PSU. It's more costly in the long run. 650W Gold rated is actually quite good. As for the charger, I honestly felt it was gimmicky until I found myself using it more and it is faster now just means I'll enjoy it more. The fans are alright and I won't use them at all but if we look at it for the price difference, the V2 is substantially better. You pay around $40 more for about $130 worth of an upgrade. I also realized I made a mistake going with the white. It's beautiful, but I want the black case like yours. I honestly didn't even notice that unintentionally my build is almost scary similar to yours in some areas! xD
This was super helpful! I have an Inwin A1 build but the V1, not this Plus version and I'm going to sell it to get the Plus in black. XD I love this case. Also, did you make any changes to the wireless charging area? It doesn't have the brown looking coil.
Two quick questions for you. 1) Why do these fans on your pictures show a brown trim on the sides? How quiet are these fans? and I ask specifically during their ramp up.
Well in located in Florida, US. XD
I would pay you to make my InWin A1 like this one. Sheesh that's amazing!
How quiet is it? Do you get good temps?
Hello! I was wondering if you had a little more information on this build regarding temps. I want either the Shift or Shift X and want a 9900k and a 2080ti with a custom loop. Can you let me know what your temps have been while gaming?
Ahh ok ok I see. I'm sure your temps are still fantastic. I also wanted to know how did you link all the fans and radiators? Do they all run through one hub? I'm asking all these questions as this would be my first time building a Looped system. I'm still working on getting all the parts together. I know what I "need" in theory, but for example, I'm confused about fittings. Idk what type or size to get although I'm pretty sure that and tubing is all I'm missing.
This is so far my list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Awakening7/saved/qfP6RB
Ok so I'm in the process of putting a build together just like yours with a 2080ti but a Ryzen 2700X. So I'm wanting to do a 120mm rad at the bottom and a 240mm on the side. Two questions: 1) how did you set up the flow? It looks like you went the same route I went and 2) The pump you're using is it enough? based on the look it looks like a EK-XRES 100 Revo D5 PWM (incl.pump) - Glass.
Ahh ok. Gotcha. Thanks :D
Is it quiet?
Question: Can you control the fans pump/fan speed on the AIO?
So quick question. Do you think that the Dark Pro 4 would fit? I know if i replace the PSU for a SFF one it will make a lot of room but I'm not sure if it can fit. The DR4 which you have measures at (LxWxH) 96.3 x 136 x 159.4. The DRP4 measures at 145 x 136 x 162. Do you think there's enough room maybe for the height?
Ahh ok ok got it. I actually after further review that this case is only appropriate with water cooling and I honestly don't want that hassle. I'll be going with the Louqe Ghost s1. I've seen enough to know the temps there for a 2080ti would be good especially if I have something blowing air on it.
Ahh ok ok. Thank you! :D
Thanks :D any BLB?
Awesome! Well then this might be my choice over the Dell UWHD. I am tired of waiting for the ASUS 35in monitor and it'll probably cost way too much also. Might as well get this one instead. Thanks for the response!
How has gaming on this monitor been? I want to get it but don't know how it works with an NVidia card. Can you give me your personal opinion?
Hey! I forgot to ask previously what are your temps for the 2080ti while gaming. I know you swapped for the Titan, but was wondering if you remember any temps while gaming.
Well if he can blow it then he's doing some managing correctly somewhere. XD
What temps are you getting with this build? I want to do a build similar, but with a 2080ti instead, I really am eyeing the 9900k. I just don't want to choke it with poor thermals.
I think at the end of the day it's all about what someone wants to do. Obviously, he's worked to get to a position where he can spend that money and be happy about having his over the top build made. I'm sure he knows what the price is. I get what your mindset is, but trying to tell someone how to spend their money is a little intrusive. Just let the man enjoy his earnings Lol.
Dude those are amazing temps!
Ahh ok. Do you have your 9900k OC'd or stock?
I was wondering what temps do you get while gaming?
Hey there! Hope you had a great New Years. I wanted to ask you about the 9900k. You said you get good temps, I'm wondering though is that with the 95W TDP limitation or is it boosting to 4.7Ghz under load?
Quick question. Did you need to buy separate AM4 brackets for the NH-12? Or did it come with them?
It will only fit after replacing the PSU. I saw another build add a NH-15
I have the same case and that stock PSU is hot garbage. I will be replacing it with a Silverstone SF-L 700W PSU with custom length cables from cablemod. I have the H60 and honestly, I hate buying it. I'm gonna get a Dark Rock Pro 4 instead. I think it would be much better and I'm going to be doing exactly what you doing; NF-A12x25 everything. :D
Ahh ok awesome. So you said you would have fit a bigger cooler if the Dominators weren't there. What would you alternately use? I plan on going with just Corsair Vengeance LPX which are much lower in profile. Also, Happy New Years! enjoy!
Ahh ok. I mean I know it'll be noisy, but the more I can reduce it the better. My current build is with a Inwin A1. It gets a little loud, but I doubt the Loque would be louder since it should supply more air that the Inwin does to the GPU. I did read the fan close to the side panel can create turbulence noise. Do you get that?
Humm ok. Gotcha. Yeah I mean if you don't OC I'm assuming you get good thermals when it boosts to 4.7 all cores. That's good. I would for the low profile Corsair vengeance RAM and the ASRock Mobo. I really want to get a powerful build small and as noise free without cutting corners. I might ask you questions back and forth here and there. XD also would you replace the Air Cooler fan with a NF 12x25 fan also? I mean on paper it looks like it would be better overall than the included NF-120. What do you think?
So if I got a top hat and added exhaust fans it could drop temps in theory. How about your 9900k? How's that doing temp wise while gaming?
Those are great #'s. Thank you for the response.
I've been thinking of doing a build like this, but I want to go the 2080ti route. Any luck on figuring what temps look like while gaming without a top hat and no other fans? Does the top allow hot air to ventilate?
What are your temps like? I know it's there are so many factors but for your load while gaming what are your temps on both?
