what were you trying to say?
Ah ok. Wasn't sure because you said that "HD 6990 that had completely failed in 2014". Wasn't sure if you meant the GPU or the oven method. Thanks the help! Much appreciated!
Did it end up working after?
Alright thank you.
Quick note. Got this card in a lot of 5 as is cards. The baking method I have seen before (in fact I watched the LTT video today while doing some research about it). I am going to hope that it is a cooling issue. Could be due to the fan blade. If not, I will see if I can find an old oven or just sell it as is/broken on ebay.
Alright. Why isn't it worth fixing?
Might be a sli bridge maybe or some sort of heatsink? What is it made out of.
Alright thank you!
Jesus christ you absolute beast.
I ran a 12.1 this year and i'm in Grade 9. Spikes do help a lot. Granted I **** the bed at the meet so there is that. I ran with Nike Spikes and I found them to be pretty good. Not a full plate btw.
How much would I make parting out do you think?
You use the teachings of Darth Plaguesis to help the Sith Lord cheat death. You can now choose to kill him in his sleep or let him rest. What do you choose?
So the entire build is worth $130 or just the CPU and GPU?
You choose the door with the lights off. You than get thrown into another room that has two more doors. One door has an AMD sign on it, and the other is a blue door that is beginning to fall apart. Which do you choose?
Right. You fall down a hole into a room with two more doors. One on the left and right. Which do you choose?
Right. The door opens to another room with two doors. One on the left and one on the right. Which do you choose?
I would recommend a chromebook (assuming your school district uses the Google Suite), and a gaming PC. This is more versatile and this enables you to have the best of both worlds. Lets say your budget is $700 USD. $100 can go to the chromebook, and the other $600 can be used for the gaming pc.
Full PC specs would be nice.
Here are some benchmarks with a i7 2600k, 1050ti, and 12gb of RAM. Seems like its more GPU bound. Recommended specs on steam are a GTX 1070 or a Vega 56. Looks poorly optimized to me.
No. No you don't
Lmao. My latest phone I only spent $300 CAD :P
Samsung taking after Apple with the pricing.
Just show him this:
Oh ok. Thought it was price or performance based or something lmao.
This makes no sense.
I am confused as to the point of this post.
Yes. It is.
What don't you understand?
Its massive :P
included with the CPU
Drivers for AMD are good and just as updated as Nvidia. The case is good. The RX 580 8gb and 1060 6gb trade blows and and performance varies depending on the game.
See if you can find a 1080p 75-144hz. It will better utilize the gpu and cpu.
PCPartPicker Part List
This will perform much better. GPU can be swapped out for a 1060 for around the same price if you prefer nvidia. You could also go used and get a 980ti/1070 for around $200
It would be fun to get that shipped to my house.
Ebay takes a cut. I don't remember exactly but it is around 10%. If I were you I would sell locally.
Online... Craigslist or Offerup.
You could use it as an external hard drive?
I genuinely don't know lmao. I just never heard of that before.
Is it simple to use? Or would SketchUp be a better choice?
Yeah. I remember seeing a bunch of reviews for it. Never got around to trying it though. It was super huge though. Have you played it? I am pretty sure its pretty cheap now.
So if someone WILL pay $5000 for a system with a i3 8100 and a 1050ti in it. Is it worth that? Hell no. You really aren't making much of a case here. Worth in itself is partially subjective, but it is also based upon comparing prices to similar components and past selling prices of the item. I don't see the problem with pricing something higher than what its "worth". If someone messages me saying my item is overpriced, than I will ask them why, if they cannot provide me with substantial proof as to why my item is overpriced, than they don't have an argument. If someone will pay $600 for a system that is "worth" $500, than technically wouldn't it be "worth" $600. If someone thinks that I am "gouging them" or "taking advantage of them", than they won't be buying my item.
