the pc probs uses less than 120w so its fine
i had my fx cpu from 2016-2017 short time but was fun while it lasted, very good bang for buck cpu
i remember my old FX 8320e, the good times
Nice build, custom cable mod cables and more red LED lighting would make this build perfect
this was posted 9 months before, and fast ram on ryzen will increase fps up to 10 or more depending on title
lol yeah sure ;)
thanks for late reply lol
i meant how far could you go?
have you tried overclocking the 1070ti?
late response lol, i went with a different ram and mobo combo, im also stuck at 2933 instead of 3200mhz
seems like a waste, a very expensive loop on a high end mid-tier CPU
FX thermal throttles at 59c, ur thermal throttling at 65c
250gb model would be good for very few games, just make sure you arnt constantly writing stuff over to the ssd because the more storage being taken up in a ssd the shorter the life span
why spend so much on custom loop? and not get a 1700?
any ram issues?
so front mounted was much worse on the 500p because it doesn't get much air in the front
what are temps for front mounted?
its a decent case, has many issues with front and top panels coming off very easily, it has AWFUL airflow so if performance doesn't really matter too much then go for it
I'm planning on this mobo+ram combo, i see in ur description you got ur ram working at 3200 1.11v do they play well together? any issues?
its diffiuclt, dont get the h500p its got aweful airflow, and there arnt alot of cases that get it right, im not real sure
yeah meshify c just needs 5mm more room for gpu so you can fit a 320mm
just saying S340 only supports 240mm for front, and it will be starved of air
S340, although looking really nice has terrible airflow, if airflow isn't a concern it is a decent case, id recommend the meshify c though.
i wish my dad worked for intel/amd
he is using a 240mm aio, ryzen doesn't get very hot, but 43c is kinda low, either he hit the lottery and whatever they use isn't giving 100% correct temps
I like it, I'm sure its enough for home theater, but price seems a tad bit high for what it is
i think at the time, kabylake was current
that cooler must suck if you get up to 89c
how is this motherboard? i cannot find ANY review videos on it, all the reviews are on the carbon version of the board
1060 will bottle neck that cpu mabye a 1050 or 1050ti
have you tried going lower? or did you just get bad silicon?
well since its small i would put it in the m.2, anything you have open in start up, it doesnt actually effect anything just how fast they open, linus and other youtubes did videos on m.2, i just recommend startup items
havnt gotten my build yet, im hoping i can get 3000 mhz if not 2933 since there is no difference
wow ryzen at 3200 is quiet difficult even with the "fixes" i was considering this ram but changed to corsair LED 3000mhz ram
motherboards generally take about 3 seconds to boot, the rest is dependant on your boot drive (hard drive, ssd or m.2) if you want it to go faster get a m.2 or ssd, to make the boot time for the actual board faster there isnt much, but not like the time it takes is long
the thing about ssd's is the more AVAILABLE storage you have the longer they last, i would get a 120-256gb ssd or m.2 and only put operating system, google, discord, start up programs and thats it
how well does the ram and mobo "play" with each other?
i recommend the MasterLiquid Lite 120 its a 40$ aio 120mm, im getting the 240 but the 120 is best bang for buck aio
how well does the ram and this mobo "play" with each other did ur ram get stuck at 2933?
im planning the same drive, i saw this build on the 1tb model but it says you have the 2tb how is it, fast for it being a 5400 or just a fast hdd?
Hows this board for overclocking? i see you managed a 4.1ghz oc on ur 1600x, what voltage (i know this depends on the cpu also but just curious) also any issues with the board? im considering this one thx
nice build love the case, how does the gpu mount work? also why such a mid tier build with a high end case? other than that LOVE all the red and the outside pics
yeah but i never like to go over 1.385v i want performance, but i also want lifespan of not just my cpu and all my components to not overheat lol
woow that must suck not being able to get to 4ghz when i get my 1700 i hope i can get 4ghz on a low voltage
what voltage did you use to get that overclock?
what voltage are you going with for 3.8ghz?
no way this is at 4.6ghz
why a 7700k? why not ryzen? nice build and 1.5tb ssd storage, also why did you get the superNOVA G2 when there is a G3? (just curious about these things)
Nice build, suprised you dont have any gpu, even for an office pc a weak gpu is better than integrated graphics, love the case planning on getting it for my ryzen system
its not fun to see spaghetti each time we open the case up :( sad times
doesnt matter, his case doesnt support it, and his cpu doesnt go over 62C which only happens after hours of gaming, so it doesnt effect performance also it has no windows or ways to look inside
yeah, what kind of things does he do on the pc?
