fyi qlc flash is a lot less reliable than other flash types which is why the 660p is so cheap. Should be fine since you have the hp im guessing for your main drive but just something to keep in mind for the future

How are the cpu thermals. Seems like you deli-dded? I have the same cpu and an msi 1080 gaming x (not sure if the gpu will fit cos of its height) and im downsizing my build to take to uni so looking at different options that fit in a bag.

guaranteed it will still be a significant gpu bottleneck on most games(other than cs etc)

oh hes gaming at 1080p didnt see that. The question is why tho. Hold on its ultrawide 1080p so more equivalent to 1440p. So an i7 would be sufficient and would get higher frames with a 2080 or 1080ti

what i meant is u could have saved on the keyboard and fit a 2080ti into ur budget. 2080ti would still be a better idea than sli 2080s anyway.

yh i would have gone with a 1080ti/rtx 2080 and 8700k/9700k. unless of course they will be streaming a lot.

they stop if gpu temps are low enough. The exchaust is tied to cpu which is why thats still spinning
