It's a beautiful build, the only thing that I'd change is getting rid of the Power / HDD LED. I always turn them off on any of my builds and I kinda feel, like they somewhat dismatch the build. Everything else is sooooo clean and nice and then there is these 2 LEDs :D

thanks. just bought a MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon and i didn't want to run into any problems once it gets delivered. Just to make sure, BIOS update works like this:

  • Download BIOS
  • Extract it
  • Put Folder onto FAT32 formatted USB Stick
  • Put USB Stick in a USB 3.0 Port on the backside of the Mainboard
  • Plugin the 24Pin and 8Pin into the Mainboard
  • Press (or Hold? Pls let me know) the BIOS Flash Button
  • Release Button once the LED starts blinking
  • Wait till the LED stops blinking
  • Update is done

am i right?

well i just hate the parts they can't find a picture for. Maybe just implement it that way that i grabs the 1st picture from the custom URL website? or search for keywords in the URL and match that with google image searches?

Also tbh if someone adds nudes or whatever as a pic i doubt it'll be such a big thing at those 100x100 res or whatever the pics in lists are

an idea on how to "fix" that meshify problem with front rads:

just attach the "mesh" metal front to the fan shrouds with velco.

Comment reply on NickTech's Completed Build: Shut up MEG

Im actually planning on getting something similar.

same CPU, even the same GPU, and a 1440p 144hz Monitor.

Right Now im rocking a i5 4670k and a GTX 1060 6GB and a 1080p 144hz Monitor.

How is the 1440p high hz experience so far? Still dunno if the 2080 can feed the games i play at 144hz in 1440p ... would be nice if you could give me some impressions.

also how does the card run? temps? noise? clocks? OC?

great build. only thing i dislike is the case.

I might be wrong, but your choice of Watercooling Layout is not optimal.

I dunno if it's for visuals, or something else, but right now it looks like your Loop starts at the Pump, goes into GPU, then CPU and then both / (all 3 rads?) and restart.

why exactly is it thats way?

You would probably get better results if you add some Rads between GPU and CPU.

Otherwise great build tho, but that jumped straight into my eyes

"The front audio cable is not shielded and the cable will run past the PSU. This makes the front audio really terrible (buzzing + echoing), so I had to buy a USB audio adapter to keep using the front audio ports."

Im not that sure if thats a problem of the cables. At least an echoing is nothing i ever heard someone talk about when it comes to those problems. Also normally Fractal Cables are as shielded as other Case Cables are.

Is there any chance u might run into problems with that because of the DAC / Audio Chip on the gigabyte motherboard? I once had a similar problem and it was software driven not a hardware problem :)

otherwise nice build. thinking about building something similar, but with a blue theme. My only problem is that i dislike the color of the noctua blue. its way too dark

The way you use the dual system makes no sense at all. Just saying. Now u got 2 Gaming rigs. One 9/10 and one 10/10. Why not use the 9900k + 2080TI only ? Your text doesnt say if you will ever use the systems side by side and unless you do it its just useless

dude its a Black/ red case, a black / red GPU, most parts are black or grey and there is a green razer sticker...

the only thing thats "hotline miami" are the 2 purple fans and the LED strip behind the table...

Thats defenitly not what a THEMED Build should look like
