yeah this is a nightmare at times but iv been finding that same diagnosis being the psu for other people. I will let you know if i come across any solutions for sure!

From the feedback i have received, i may just get the 980ti and wait a little bit before purchasing a 2k monitor. In the mean time i can use the DSR Dan recommended

Willing to spend $600 on upgrades, already own this build, i should have been more clear on that haha 1080p and most likely wont be overclocking I got that optical drive from my friend

the pc tower will be fine. The other three are not set in stone for me, i only added them to the get a feel for how much $ i would be spending. Budget is still at 1100 to 1300 for the tower alone
