No, you plug in the aio cooler to cpu_fan. The aio cooler may have connected to the fans from the cooler if you connect them. The case fans are supposed to be plugged in cha_fan. The aio_pump are for watercooling kits.

For the max budget of $1000, if youre waiting for coffee lake, the best option of coffee lake would be the i5s. If youre like buying the Ryzen, the Ryzen 5 1600 would do for the streaming.

I thought it will be a bottleneck with the 1070. The 1500X is alright with the 1070, it doesn't lack performance which is good. I though it will be perfect with the 1060 and the RX 580.

It not just the i7 8700k itself, I forgot to explain that the Z370 Motherboards and the rest of the Coffee lake cpus will launch on the same launch date for the Coffee lakes.

if you match the i3-8350k with the 1070,1080 and Ti. It will still be a bottleneck.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Which Cpu?"

  • 1 point

If you want overclocking, go with the R7 1700, it may be the same performance as the 1700X. The 1700X has less voltage (moderate temps) than the 1700 and the performance is a bit higher than the overclocked 1700. Go with the 1700X if you dont want to overclock the 1700. If you want to spend more money, go with the 1800X

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Which Cpu?"

  • 1 point

The ryzen 1700 had included the stock cooler. The Ryzen 1700X doesn't. If you want the 1700X, you have to buy a CPU Cooler.
