The first question was IPS or TN, and considering color quality and richness was more important than smooth motion, since I don't play first person games, I went with IPS. 27" was the perfect size, anything else for me was over kill. I liked Dell, and have had great luck with them over the years. Finally it was resolution, and I understand that 4k may be a bit much, not really noticeable, at least not to me. The ONLY aspect I did not go for that I thought I might have was the G-SYNC, since we have GeForce video cards, but as with many things, I can't really justify the extra cost, unless I was a total gamer, which I am not. Good luck, love my rig so far. About to build another for my son.

Obviously, but data degrades on SSDs far faster than HDDs, so I like to use HDDs for long term data storage.

Fast yes, but I don't think you can rewrite on SSDs forever. That is why I think one old school hard drive is beneficial, I could be wrong in this.

Hello,

I initially purchased 2 sticks of 16GB Corsair Dominator RAM, but started to have second thoughts after I watched a few videos regarding the difference between 2x16 vs 4x8. I linked below some of the videos I watched: The real life comparison was the most convincing for me.
