Yes when you are working with other people communication is key but just because you know how to communicate and interact with people does not mean you care about their feelings. Their feelings are only a small part of them. Just because I tell jokes with coworkers and we laugh a lot and I know how to communicate how want part of our project done does not mean I care or need to care about their feelings in order for them to like me and the way I do things or the way I contribute to the team. But if you work alone and you can do your job better then people who can communicate with other people better then why does knowing how to communicate matter? Even if it did you still wouldn't need to care about their feelings. I don't care about my team's feelings but I know how to communicate and joke around. We laugh and tell jokes but I still don't care about their emotions. I care about them as a person and how they will contribute to the team. If I am fighting in a war I don't care about the feelings of the guy I am about to kill. Because if I do then I will end up getting killed and the rest of my team with me. And just because I care about my team in a war does not mean I care about their emotions. Emotions are personal.
I am not upset about anything. It is your opinion that I should care about other people's feelings, It is my opinion that I shouldn't unless they are part of a small group of people such as a spouse or children. You shouldn't care about other people's feelings because it does not matter to you. They most likely have a family that cares about their feelings anyway. The more you care about 1 person's feelings the less you will care about another person's feelings. The reason I care about the feelings of my spouse is because if I don't care about their feelings then they won't care about mine and that relationship is dead and will end up costing both sides a lot.
If you think I should care about other people's feelings it is your job to provide me with a reason why I should. If I have no reason to care about other people's feelings I won't. I don't do anything without a reason.
Logic relies on principals to discern validity
Logic relies on principals to discern validity
So like I asked before, Give me a valid reason to care about other people's feelings.
Enjoy living off othernpeople while you van because in 5 years it will be a fist to the face with all stuff you now need to do for yourself, Or so I have been told by 90% of the adults I have spoken too about this. Both of my parents basically took care of themselves through high school and say that because if this they were better prepared then most. Mainly my dad. The amount of stuff he was dealt with in his life would have broken 100 men. But he kept on fighting for his goals and striving to be better, So that his sons cpuld be even better then him. Personally I don't even know if its possible for me to be a better man then my father but who knows.
Works for me.
Inter-personal relations by the definition given in the picture that the submitter posted is strictly about feelings and emotions. And I said several times that its not that the other stuff does not matter but as far as intelligence goes they are nowhere near the level of importance as the 3 I listed. Because the 3 I listed you will be using 95% of the time and the other stuff only 5% of the time. Do you honestly care about my emotions? If so then why? If my feeling matter to you then how did I become so important in your life? The only people who's feelings actually matter to me is a total of 8. All of them are family. Give me a valid reason to care about my neighbor's feelings. Give me a good reason to care about my coach's feelings. Because I honestly don't. I have no reason too and I probably never will. If you want to care about my feelings that is your personal opinion. But in all honesty I don't care about your feelings, Or anyone else's that replies to this post. And considering I don't know anyone on site irl why should I. I am not going to go out of my way to insult people. There is simply no need. I don't want to insult but its not because I care about their feelings, Its because I care about me and my feelings. But as I stated before logic over feelings.
Exactly. I never denied that the other ones mattered, I just said that they matter less.
Also the examples you are giving have nothing to fo with interpersonal relations. It is morals.
of or relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior.
This has nothing to do with other people and everything to do with you.
Well clearly you are failing to see my point. Otherwise you would not have made this comment. Not caring about peoples feelings has nothing to do woth robbing or killing them. And I never said no interpersonal relationship I just said that they are not as important as the other 3. Not taking somebody elses thing for yourself would be the logical thing to do for the reasons I mentioned before. Like them having motive to kill you.
I was just using Star Trek as an example because in reality there is no culture that represents my point. So I used a fictional one that can still express my point. You are ignoring half the stuff I am saying for the sake of argument.
All the stuff you just sayed was explained in my previous comment.
Just because I don't care what a person feels does not mean I throw logical thought out the windows. What if robbing them would hurt the feelings of myself or the people I actually care about. Its logic before emotion. And if you are a math genius then logic should come naturally to you. I don't care what my football coach feels but logic tells me that it would be stupid to just randomly start insulting him. Just because I don't care about my neighbor's feelings does not mean I am going to break into their house and take all their stuff. I do not have a reason to care about peoples feelings but logic still exists. Logic tells me that I insult my boss I could get fired, So I don't insult my boss. Logic tells me that if I rob my neighbor then I could go to jail or even get killed if they are home and have a gun for self defense. And yes those are the 3 that really matter. Using the word really as in the context of extreme importance compared to the other things that are on the list.
Edit: On Star Trek Vulcans do not have emotions but they are logical. This is a perfect example of what I am talking about. Logic over emotion. Not saying emotions are bad but logic should take importance over them 99% of the time.
Would like to say that the only Sim City game on steam is Sim City 4 from 2003. The Sim City you are talking about is only on origin, Which is a crappy drm but the only option for playing EA games. But who wants to play EA games?
Unturned is a great free to play game and the only micro transactions are cosmetic and they don't try to push them down your throat. You could easily sink 50 hours into it. There will be controller support but as of now its KB&M only. You can use any controller you want too on PC. Also Rocket League is pretty fun. League of Legends(Which is not on steam) Is great and currently the most played game in the world with about 27 million active daily users and its free. The Civilization series is fun. Prey 2017. Terraria but if you use a controller with this game you may aswell shoot yourself in the foot.
For PS4 controllers you can just connect them with a usb cord or bluetooth, And for XB1 you need to buy a wireless adapter. Only get a steam controller if you want to play strategy games on your couch. Its great for slow paced stuff but for first person shooters its kinda crappy.
Hard to win when every time you go to the bench you put on another batch of cookies that your team keeps eating.
I didn't say the other stuff did not matter. I just said it does not matter nearly as much. And besides the amount of people you care for should be limited. Why should I care about anyone's feelings unless they are my spouse or children? Why should I care about what my boss feels? Why should i care about my coworkers emotions. It just adds stress that will that is pointless. Better to care deeply for 5 people then to care a little bit for 5000
The only 3 that really matter from most important to least.
Logical-mathimatical. It has had the most impact on the world and the more you know about it the more you know about the universe.
Bodily-kinesthetic. Having a healthy body is good for not only the obvious reasons but it will also contribute the former since a healthy body does help the mind.
Spatial. Always be aware of your surroundings. This will help you in so many ways and can save your life. Knowing where you are and how to get from point A to point B just by using your mind is one of the most important things you can train yourself to do.
The other ones are just random crap that does not help you nearly as much as these 3. Basically if you are a mathematical genius that can run a marathon and dead lift 300 pounds that can also be dropped into the middle of nowhere and make it home for dinner then you win at life. This is my goal.
I once had a dream where I was trying to play hockey and bake cookies at the same time. The cookies were good.
I have very low expectations for the entire system due to the fact that the final price will be under $250. From what little benchmarking I have done with rocket league mostly uses gpu power. But if it can run Prey at even medium settings and get a somewhat stable 40 fps then I will be really surprised. Thanks for the feedback.
Swap out the 7700k for a Ryzen 5 1600. The performance difference won't be that noticeable since the monitor is only 60hz. It will bring the price down a bit without a huge gaming performance decrease.
Replace the thermal paste with peanut butter and run aida 64. Thats how I would do it.
Its not people that buy 10 gpus to set up in their house so they can make some extra money that cause the inflated gpu prices. Its places that buy literally thousands of gpus and set them up in massive facilities that cause increased prices. Personally I have no problem with mining at all. It sucks if you are looking to buy an AMD gpu besides the RX 560 and the slightly inflated prices on the 1060 cards suck but its just how the market works. Supply and demand. There is great demand just not enough supply. But in the long run this could actually help people that are just trying to build a decent gaming PC. Since AMD knows that when they release their series of gpus that the demand will probably be much higher then any other launch in history, Then they will manufacture a lot more gpus this time. With all the money they get from the increased sales they will be able to put that into making more gpus and researching new architectures.
Good build. But that usb device that is sticking out of the top of your case looks like a wifi adapter. If so I advise you plug it into your motherboard instead and seeing if you get better performance. I used something similar to that when I first built my PC and when I plugged it into my motherboard I got almost double the speed as when I had it plugged into my case usb port. Also some more pics of the PC would be nice too. Great build.
I have tried both and it really depends on what you want. Do you want something that is portable and easy to game on the go, Or would you rather have the ability to feel like you are actually in the game you are playing. As far as price goes the switch is cheaper on first purchase however the price of 1 game such as BOTW will make the cost equal to the rift which comes with 5 or 6 games.
However the quality of the games on the switch is a lot higher. Personally I would rather have the switch since you are not locked down to a specific area, And since you can also use it as a console . VR is fun but considering the limited selection of quality game combined with all the other cons such as needing a large amount of room so you can actually play it, I think the rift may get old faster. And with a switch you have all the nintendo exclusives.
Usually you need to fill out the forum online after you get the product, Download the rebate forum and print it, Cut the UPC off the box of your product, Then mail all of that in. Its annoying and take a while but you do get some money back. Some companies like AMD have the entire process online so you don't need to damage your box or mail anything in. But most of the rebates I have done follow the more annoying process. As it takes a long time for the rebates to actually show up.
Black coffee. Then another cup of black coffee. Then another. Some times I will put a bit of sugar in it to bring out the flavor depending on the roast. If I am lazy then I just grind the beans and throw em in and wait for it to brew. But if I really want a good cup of coffee I will throw in some cinnamon and black pepper and stir it while with the grounds while the water pours onto them. Been drinking coffee on a regular basis since I was 6 years old. 9 years well spent. I have had bad coffee before but 99% of the time my coffee is of high quality. You don't need to spend a lot of money to get a good cup of coffee. My favorite coffee is a brand from Russia that is so heavenly that the name translates to "From God". I am very picky about my coffee. That is the only thing my parents raised me to be picky about.
I fractured my leg at the start of the fourth quarter of one of my football games. I finished the game and kept showing up to practice with my fractured leg. I was barely able to stand up and the coach had to bench me to keep me from showing up in full gear to play. The last practice where I was in full gear we had to run about 600 yards. The coach stopped me 75% of the way in because I was injured. He didn't even know. That was the painful and hardcore thing I have ever done. But on the bright side the game where I fractured my leg we won and I got 6 tackles.
Is it even possible to drink time?
Exactly. Tv has a worse effect on your brain then video games. Because video games actually require you to think and actually do stuff.
And thank you for putting (many) before teenagers. I hate being grouped with the people I see that are addicted to their phones and would rather text the person sitting 2 meters away then lift their head and use their larynx and tongue to create a vibration through the air that their friend's ear will pick up and interpret as words.
Actual addictions should be classified as mental disorders because addictions are. But its what they qualify as an addiction that may be a problem. If they say that somebody who games for 20 to 30 hours a week to relax is an addict, Even if they don't have any symptoms of somebody who is addicted to drugs or alcohol then that would be a problem. But if they do it right and classify somebody with a gaming addiction as somebody who plays non stop all day games for over 80 hours a week every week and feels they can't live without games then there should not be a problem. Its all about moderation. Same goes for anything. alcohol is good for you in moderation. A glass of wine each day is good for you. A bottle of wine a day is not.
yes there is a video port. 3 of them. am4 was not designed just for ryzen but also the am4 apus. Some of them are already out but are just older ones that have been put on the am4 platform and they use those display outputs. Ryzen has no igpu but the motherboards do support current and future athlon chips which do. Look at a picture of the mobo.
Is the video output plugged into your motherboard or gpu? If it is plugged into your motherboard then you probably won't get a signal.
As Gilroar said it is listed as Ryzen second generation. From everything I have seen we do not know what they will name the refresh. From what I have found ryzen 2 and zen 2 will be the same thing. But since there is very limited information on zen 2 or the ryzen refresh we won't actually know until something new is released. But since this generation of the zen architecture was called Ryzen it makes perfect sense that the zen 2 architecture will be called Ryzen 2, And the refresh of Ryzen will be something like Ryzen gen 2. But like I said all anyone has to go on is rumors and speculation. Until it is officially announced by AMD I will stick to calling it a Ryzen refresh, Because we really do not know what they are going to call it. Either way the name does not make a difference as long as the hardware is given an improvement. What we do know about Zen 2 is that it is going to be a 7nm.
Yes it will be enough for VR.
I got a coffee mug and $85. I got a friend of mine a power supply that was on sale. EVGA 450BT.
For 1080p your card is just fine. But the main reason you should wait is that Nvidia Volta consumer grade gpus are releasing next year. Most likely around June. So if you wait then you will get much more for your money
I think you are confusing Ryzen 2 with the Ryzen refresh that will most likely happening early next year. But to answer your question yes. Wait a bit longer and save a bit more money. Also keep in mind that the consumer grade Volta gpus will be releasing around June of next year(Maybe earlier or later).
For mother boards I selected the chipset and clicked cheapest. And keep in mind that the 1700x which has 2 extra cores and 10 extra threads is $20 more then the 8600k. And without the overclocking coffee lake is kinda pointless. Since you get better multitasking and about the same performance as a locked coffee lake chip, With an unlocked ryzen.
Tesla. One of if not the smartest man in history. With modern tools and technology he could do what scientists have been trying to do for years. People still can't make sense of some his stuff and say its above what we have today.
Prey is pretty fun. But it is a story based game and after you beat it there is not much left to do but try and beat it again but getting all the upgrades possible. Unturned is a great free game that can be pretty fun. With the amount of Steam workshop support you could put 300 hours into it easily. But it is constantly being updated. These updates can be either really small or really big. 2 of the maps on single played have quests but it is more fun when you get a few friends together or get on a server. ARK Survival Evolved can be fun. But it still does not run nearly as well as it should. It has gotten much better over time. I think the reason people still aren't talking about it as much is because PUBG is now the most famous game with crappy optimization.
Why not? lol
Just recite some poetry. I recommend the Odyssey by Homer.
Literally the only difference between WD ssds and Sandisk ssds is the label. They use the same everything. Some people may like WD and others may like Sandisk and won't buy the other. But they do without knowing it most of the time. Its a genius system.
Not much you can do until a new ISP shows up in that town. But has AT&T made any tyrannical changes yet?
I got 2 pentalkills in one game of League of Legends. Ended game with 28/1/7
We will not get a Nintendo game like BOTW on pc unless Nintendo decides to just make 3rd party games.(But with the Switch doing well that is extremely unlikely) The reason it is on Steam is because it belongs to Capcom not Nintendo. The game looks interesting. I think it was on another console but I am not sure. Maybe I will get it on the summer sale next year.
Yeah that game is fun. I have no clue why you can't select resolution. Only part I hate about it.
Mild Language is just that. Mild and rare. Nothing worse then a show that is rated tv pg. If you have ever seen shows like Psych or Monk then it is less then that. If a game says mild language there is absolutely nothing to really worry about for a 9yo. I think Warband is the newest one so far and the most popular from what I have seen. I have never played it. When it comes to terraria your kids probably didn't even get to the first boss. It is the kind of game where if you don't have the PC version and the wiki it can get boring. The only way to play Terraria the way it is meant to be played is on PC. Otherwise the controls will totally destroy any fun you may have had.
The only thing you may be concerned with in Mount and Blade is a minor amount of blood and some mild language. Since it is rated T it won't be anything that violent. But as far as games with a good singleplayer and storyline, It is hard to find ones that are not extremely violent and have a lot of mature language. I would recommend Battlefront 2 but the reviews are not extremely good and the main focus is multiplayer. Terraria is a great game for any age and you can easily put over 100 hours into it just trystoring to fight all the bosses. There is no story but it does not need one. Unturned is a great free game but it is best played with friends. Star Wars Republic Commando is an older game that is great. Great story and gameplay.
I would not get Destiny 2 for an 11 year old or anyone because of how they handled their dlc. The game was lacking content to begin with and then they charge $20 for a dlc that lasts 1.5 hours. And when this dlc was released they locked certain features of the base game that people could access prior behind the dlc paywall. If you like Destiny 2 good for you. But this is probably Activision no Bungie. If it is Bungie then they are becoming like the company that is ruining Halo. Which would be ironic.
No. That is why I said jk. It was a joke.
