I thought they weren't available in the US, plus I saw them after I got the Asus card. Thanks for pointing that out though, I'll be due for an upgrade sooner than later because I only got the 1060.
I was waiting for someone to mention it! Haha, I just moved into this room. It was my little brother's before. I figured I am going to move out of the house soon, so I just left it.
Good point! I will adjust the pictures. I was trying to show the PC evolving to where it is today. I looked at your computer when I was looking at cases, it's super clean as well.
+1 for being a fellow car guy with a super clean build. The shroud looks great by the way, Fractal should get with you so they can mass produce it. I gotta get me one of those chairs, they're super cool. I probably have an expired Sparco seat in the garage somewhere...
Ah I see. I have the GTX 1060 version of that card with a backplate on and the tubes are super close to touching, but they don't. I have the rad pushed basically all the way to the top on the front brackets.
I don't know about gigabyte's fan controls, but on my Asus board I had to run fan tuning so the board could "learn" each fan. Then it just automatically controls them all, even turns off the top fan when it is not needed. I noticed that about afterburner too, so I just stuck with Asus' GPU Tweak II and it works okay.
Cable management better than mine! +1
First, clean build. Looks a lot like mine actually! I haven'y uploaded mine yet because I am still going through the pictures. I have the same case, cooler, and similar GPU. My rad fans are super quiet. I have them controlled through FanXpert 3 on my Asus Z170-a MOBO, and they idle at about 450 RPM. They get loud when my CPU hits hotter, but it rarely does. Not sure why yours are so loud, maybe mess with the fan controller on the MOBO. My Riings are louder than the CPU fans.
Also, I have my pump orientated the way you do in picture 18. Why did you move it to the position it is in on picture 3? Just curious.
+1 for sure!
I have the same problem. I was wondering if it was just me. Anyway, clean build! I love cube like cases.
