What did you cover up the ventilation in the back? Won't that negatively impact airflow, and thus cooling?

Speaking from my personal experience, not very good. It lacks room behind the motherboard tray to run the cables.

This build is wayyyyy too overkill to be playing at 1280x1024. You should bump up your resolution and keep your graphic settings to min (if that is what you're going for). Or you could have saved a TON of money on a cheaper graphics card and gotten the same result for overall fps.

no offense but this seems totally overkill for a 5 year old. I would understand if this was the sort of thing where you would build a basic computer together then upgrade it overtime, but this just seems way to over the top.
