I was wondering if that Photon mounting bracket that mounts to the radiator came with the Photon pump/res combo or if you purchased that separate? I have the older Photon 170 mounting bracket that has the big flat plate that mounts to nothing unless you want to poke holes in your case. I've been looking for an option to mount to the front res for a while now. +1 on your build very nice.

If you can hold out till probably early 2017 then get the 1080ti. The 1080ti should slap 4k around.

Rock and Roll dude. Your on your way. That setup looks sweet. You got a 4k monitor for the Titan XP or plans for one in the future? If your using 1080p or 1440p then a GTX 1080 should be plenty and save yourself close to $600. Let me know how it goes?

Thermals are scary under the armor. I don't recommend putting the M.2. under the armor. My temps will be in the 60-70c in an hour + gaming session. You might want to use a PCI-E card. I would have gone that route but I don't want to take apart my custom loop and drain it.

If this helps it's been 6 months and no signs of it being damaged. Crystal disk has it running at 2000/1500 range.

I've had it for about 6 months now and no problems at all and it was OC'd the day I got it. Been playing Overwatch a lot and Battlefield 1 the past day and many more with no issues running any current AAA games at 3440x1440. I'd say the only issue is cut scenes and sometimes movies have a black border on the left and right.

I'm not sure how Dell is going to know you OC your monitor if you do it from the NVIDIA control panel. I wouldn't worry about the warranty.

I think you should be scoring a lot higher on Fire Strike 1.1. I was getting high 17000's with two 980's and a 4 core 4790k. I'd rethink the PSU and maybe replace it with a 850 or 1000w. I mean your into this for over $5000 another $200 for a PSU and peace of mind would be well worth it.

You might already know this but you can overclock your Dell U3415W to 75Hz in NVidia control panel. I have the same monitor and it works flawlessly with 980 Ti's in SLI. I thought I got a good deal on my monitor but you can't beat 0.00!

That's a loaded question. Every chip is different so it's hard to tell with any accuracy. On your I7 with a water cooler it's possible you can get 4.5ghz or more. As for the GPU I have no idea. Good luck.

That pastel looks so cool. I was wondering about them because I've heard nothing but bad things about them. How they turn a different color after a few months or how they will gunk up the loop. Is this brand new or do you have some experience with pastel coolants? Also is the concentrate worse then the already mixed coolant or is there no difference? I know a loaded question why make pastels if they are so bad for your loop. I just have interest in putting pastels in my loop. +1

I had some extra tubing so I adjusted the the loop. I flipped the front rad and have my T-fitting on there so it's the lowest point in my loop for draining. Thanks for the insight it not only helped my loop for draining but it cleaned it up some and it looks much better.

Replaced my NZXT Sentry 2 fan controller for a nice AeroCool Cooltouch. I have a bit more control and it adds some LED bling to the front of the case. I replaced my Noctua's for AeroCool DS 140's just for the looks alone. I can now turn off my fans at night and keep my system dead silent. The only thing I hear is my rear case fan and barely the D5 pump. Thanks for the idea.

The main reason I didn't wait on the 1080 is because I got the 980 ti Lightning as a Christmas gift. I've been running with it since Jan 2016. I might switch it out next year when the 1080 ti's are out or I might just wait for something better. In any case this is more then enough for the next few years.

I don't use it to boot I just stored origins and battlenet games on it. BF4 still takes time to load but so far it's working. Also use it to play GW2, WoW, DA and others. I've had it for 10 months guess I'm one of the lucky ones because [knock on wood] I've never had a problem with it.

I know the length will fit but I wasn't sure if it would fit because of the massive width. Good thing for pcpartpicker. +1 for having the only H440 with a MSI 980 ti lightning on this sight.

The program Corsair Link which is buggy. If you want your colors to stay you have to set the bar 1 off the max. Example red bar would be 0-255 you would have to set the bar to either 1 or 254 to get the color to stay. If you don't the color will reset to white after reboot. Also the temps and fan controls are flaky.
