Nivida all the way, I love AMD for my processor but they just dont have the graphics game down, but im like you I would love an upgrade to something that can reliably handle 4K but atm with my 1080p monitors theres no reason, and it handles what I throw at it just fine, its been a good card for the past 2 years and dosent seem like its slowing down anytime soon, and your card isint terrible either, like GTX 970-980 range but its getting older now, an upgrade for you would probably be worth it but I see what you mean about waiting anyways, ray-tracing is nice but like I said before, for the performance hit it has I just dont see it being worth it

I hear you on the AMD thing, I will always go with nvidia in the graphics department, but if you want a 20 series card you could always get a 2070 there anywhere from $500-$600 still get ray-tracing and is an upgrade from your current card, thats honestly what I was thinking but im not sure if I should wait either, my 1070 works just fine for me c:

"the pictures suck" jk but I wouldent suggest going for the 20 series unless they optimize them more, cause atm unless you really REALLY REALLY want ray-tracing, which in all honesty is nice yes, but not for the price or hit to performance, but the reason I say this is because the difference between the 10 and 20 series isint alot for the price difference, and that price difference is again just because its new tech and stuff, but your choice really

great looking build btw
