Also make sure that you are setting them in the right slots that the motherboard reccomends in its book.

For what you want it to do, It would be the better option. But if you need to go a little cheaper the i5 7600 is also a good solution to that.

Honestly, looks good only thing I would reccomend is maybe getting a better cooler maybe liquid, and maybe a larger SSD. But overall looks good.

It isn't a problem but you may have to find a way to update the motherboard to latest version of you want to use the new line of CPU's, I got lucky and didn't have to update but I would just make sure you remember this during the build so you do not freak out if it doesn't work at first. And that is the same card I guess the price difference to the UK. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KVZBNY0?tag=pcpapi-20&pldnSite=1 <-- that is the link the one in the US just see if it picks it up in the UK. Not sure how it works in different countries.

Yeah I can point some out if you want! But I would also maybe think of upgrading to the new i5 7500, the price difference isn't much for the performance that you get.

Not bad then! Doesn't need a z170 mobo if you can overclock on the CPU which will save you some money.

I would highly consider the new i5 7600k and I put in the Z270 motherboards since those were the new line released with the new Intel CPU's. You can probably go a little better on the CPU cooler but there was a deal on those together. Threw in a 1070 just because its great for what games you want to play and is a little under what you were asking for the price of a GPU. If you have any more questions let me know!

Can I recmmomend that I know you want SLI 1080's but for the games that you will be playing you can save a little by running SLI with 1070's and you can still run on max settings with GTA just fine. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/j8rcCJ/asus-geforce-gtx-1070-8gb-video-card-rog-strix-gtx1070-o8g-gaming

With a power supply you usually want to go overkill just incase you upgrade or do anything else with the computer. Also for the price difference of the 600w its not much more.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "First build attempt"

I like it I would say if you want to save some money a 1TB SSD is plenty and then maybe another 1 TB HDD would be a good backup. I also don't know what your price range is. I would also look at the z270 motherboards, they are decently cheaper and work great with the new i7's since they were released with the new CPU's.

Honestly for the price difference from the 7700k from the 6700k or the 6600 isn't that much its like 20-25 dollars give or take. In my own opinion I think its worth it. That is up to you though!
