The Kraken Pump did have a problem. But I contacted their support and they sent me a brand new one.
It's around 60-65
it was bought before I got the processor
Also make sure that you are setting them in the right slots that the motherboard reccomends in its book.
For what you want it to do, It would be the better option. But if you need to go a little cheaper the i5 7600 is also a good solution to that.
Honestly, looks good only thing I would reccomend is maybe getting a better cooler maybe liquid, and maybe a larger SSD. But overall looks good.
Yeah i think it would, thats what I bought for mine. Yeah they would be able to help you out.
It isn't a problem but you may have to find a way to update the motherboard to latest version of you want to use the new line of CPU's, I got lucky and didn't have to update but I would just make sure you remember this during the build so you do not freak out if it doesn't work at first. And that is the same card I guess the price difference to the UK. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KVZBNY0?tag=pcpapi-20&pldnSite=1 <-- that is the link the one in the US just see if it picks it up in the UK. Not sure how it works in different countries.
Yeah I can point some out if you want! But I would also maybe think of upgrading to the new i5 7500, the price difference isn't much for the performance that you get.
Not bad then! Doesn't need a z170 mobo if you can overclock on the CPU which will save you some money.
What is the build going to be used for?
I would highly consider the new i5 7600k and I put in the Z270 motherboards since those were the new line released with the new Intel CPU's. You can probably go a little better on the CPU cooler but there was a deal on those together. Threw in a 1070 just because its great for what games you want to play and is a little under what you were asking for the price of a GPU. If you have any more questions let me know!
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Yeah me too. I think I just got lucky on that
no more than one thousand?
yes it did.
I mean I handle realtively high frames with just one 1070 while rendering 4k video. But this is also to your standards.
I should say other z270 motherboards.. sorry
Also these dual 1080s are a lot cheaper https://pcpartpicker.com/product/KC648d/zotac-geforce-gtx-1080-8gb-amp-edition-video-card-zt-p10800c-10p
Can I recmmomend that I know you want SLI 1080's but for the games that you will be playing you can save a little by running SLI with 1070's and you can still run on max settings with GTA just fine. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/j8rcCJ/asus-geforce-gtx-1070-8gb-video-card-rog-strix-gtx1070-o8g-gaming
With a power supply you usually want to go overkill just incase you upgrade or do anything else with the computer. Also for the price difference of the 600w its not much more.
I like it I would say if you want to save some money a 1TB SSD is plenty and then maybe another 1 TB HDD would be a good backup. I also don't know what your price range is. I would also look at the z270 motherboards, they are decently cheaper and work great with the new i7's since they were released with the new CPU's.
Can you add the Parts list?
The PSU, and I didn't look at the RAM but to make sure wouldn't hurt, but if he said that GPU benchmarked better I would go with that.
Then yeah I would agree with Hummer.
What is the PC going to be used for?
Yeah i would agree that it is more with building
But honestly the 6600 would work for what you want it to!
Honestly for the price difference from the 7700k from the 6700k or the 6600 isn't that much its like 20-25 dollars give or take. In my own opinion I think its worth it. That is up to you though!
This might be a little bit over budget but you do not need the expensive monitors there are plenty others that do just well.
I would be careful going above 70 degrees. Also make sure that your liquid cooling fans aren't running on the lowest setting.
Can I ask what you will be using this system for....
Im an idiot, plain and simple
It working a lot better thanks!!!
Okay, I let you know what happens thank you again!!
What would you recommend that I put it up to?
It does say on the CAM application that my nzxt kraken is using a 25% fan speed im not sure if that has anything to do with it.
yes they are all reading up to date.
the highest I received was 83.. that was my concern.
I reapplied the thermal paste and don't think that is the problem, and with the fan utilized its not just one specific reading it switches between the four it shows.
But you could do it with a USB drive too.
Make sure you update it then ! Love to see it.
I actually had an old pc with one, so I just plugged it in to the computer loaded it up and took it out. There are also external DVD drives that you can get for $30.
Love your setup by the way, I got glass desks but always wished I had gone with wood ones.
No I don't mind, I actually didn't realize that. Thanks!
Coming soon I just ordered the USB extender.
