Ok fair point.
That was a mistake i was tampering with another build
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Add a 1050 or 1060
This is what I was going to do to sell.
I do not NEED the APU function, but I figured for the price, can't go wrong. This i just for a spare build to try and flip and sell
Canadian craiglist? lol it's for selling online locally
Kijiji is where he's selling it. I'm a little worried it'll be a bust if he accepts $100
Thank you. Most of my content is only 1080p video quality on a 4K tv. So I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Even streaming, do you think the GT1030 is needed?
Page not found.
Imperious nailed it saying buy a refurbished PC and put a 1050ti or a 1060 if you can afford it. tight budget. good luck!
No I'm not going to OC now
Any need for Dark Rock Pro?
What brand is Micron? I have 2x 140mm be quiet! fans, I could use those. Only reason I picked the H500i is for fan control.
If I did this for the gaming rig, I'd only have to spend 500+ for SSD, Case and Cooler. Thoughts?
Saved over time. Bought most of the be quiet fans on sale or used.
LOL Not all of it is free. I just didn't put my prices in there! It's what I have on hand lol
Clean build. Good job! +1
W10 Home. Do you recommend an alternative?
Now to monitor shop lol
So I with the i5 and the 2070 paired I could play games in 1080 on high or ultra. And if paied with a better monitor I could play at 1440p with 100hz+ correct?
Huh. That's interesting!
Thanks mark. I'll watch the video when I'm done work.
I know that's benchmarked using an i7, does that make a BIG difference if i'm using the i5 9600K
would a 250GB be enough for an OS for the server.
I'm not familiar with Deepcool. How are they stacked against NZXT, Corsair, etc.
That PSU comes with white cables ;) so I have that covered haha
Thanks man. I appreciate the feedback.
I currently have the M.2 in my server with my OS on it. And most of those drives, aside the 1TB Blue is occupied in the R5 Case. Would I put the RM550X in the server, over the RM750X. I could always purchase another M.2 or an SSD for the OS for a gaming rig.
Yes I've seen the DRP4 is WAY easier to install. They totally fixed the flaws in the pro3
I just saw that haha I do not have coffee filters. I have 70% Rubbing alcohol and q tips and paper towel.
Nice build. How did you like working in that case?
The AIO would be for the i5 and 2070 gaming pc. I may have worded that incorrectly.
I found Imperious' builds haha I scrolled through....a lot of pages lol
I'll check out those air coolers. This DRP3 is a pain to install.
Noted on that thanks man.
Now what screen lol I'm kidding. Thanks for your help.
pair the i5 and the 2070. Should I change my cooler from a be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 to an AIO rad cooler.....to be honest, the DRP3 is a pain to install. And I want to OC the CPU and MAYBE the GPU to perform best on a good screen.
I'd like to play games at 1440p with 120hz+
I already have the Ryzen in my server and also do light gaming. I'm building a new rig and wasn't sure if I should use the ryzen chip or the i5 for heavier gaming. i'm going to purchase a new monitor for gaming.
Colors are awesome! Build is awesome. +1 and hopefully a feature. Good job!
Thanks mark. Helps a lot. I'm just going with what stock I have and what build to do where. Upgrade my Server with the 1700 and running a 1060 3gb. Wondering If I should just install the old parts in a new case and save the Define S for a water build. I have no idea ahha just conflicted as to what to put with what. Imperious helped one time but i forgot to save all of his messages and I can't find 'em in my inbox.
LG 34UM59-B. 1080p. 75hz
The customer didn't want any OC done to the CPU. I tried to explain the benefits but he said no because he couldn't afford a cooler rather than the stock one. Therefore I used the stock one and hope it won't bottleneck.
Would the front 3.0USB be useless on this mobo?
legit question, how do you suggest the CPU could cause bottlenecking of the 2070?
yes I was
