~$360 with taxes and shipping. Not too bad, yeah?
That's pretty decent and well priced. Thank you
Yeah I see it clear as day. I'm unsure where the other photo came from then
I don't know? The photos are from the same PC. That gateway
Here are some images
I overclocked it to 2666, see if it makes a difference.
I probably wouldn't notice a big change. I'll tamper with the RAM first. Thank you
I just did it with the Nvidia Geforce Experience. Shadows of Mordor idle at 66-70fps. Even during gameplay.
The mobo i'm running states DDR4-2133 / 2400 / 2666 only. If i go higher will it work?
Noob question; how do i check what my current rates are? Download software? Or is it in the OS.
I have this monitor. As far as the RAM, no I have not tried to OC it.
I have that many drives because it doubles as my plex server. When i first built this i thought higher ram meant faster. clearly didn't do proper research.
The LG Monitor I have, if i'm reading this correctly; has Freesync via HDMI. So a GTX would be best? Or an upgraded monitor. My budget fluctuates lol
So I'm looking at the Asus ROG GeForce GTX 1080 or the ASUS ROG Radeon RX Vega. Opinions? AMD chip vs NVIDIA
I'll take a gander. Thanks hellfire
Is there an alternate screen you'd recommend. Or if I upgrade to a 1080/1080ti will my monitor be enough.
I appreciate the offer hellfire, however I don't have 500+ CAD to drop on anything right now. I'll keep ya in mind. What did you upgrade to?
Yeah i went overboard with the ram. It was my first build and I really didn't know what was "enough". So at the time I decided on that. Now I want to sell it in a build for a customer lol possibly seperate them and just sell them 16GB.
As far as the 1070ti vs 1080, you're saying the 1080 will make best use of Ryzen over 1070?
Thanks for that review link.
Noted. Thanks much.
I also suggested 16GB but he can't move on price. I also tried talking him into an intel build haha. Witcher 3 requires minimal 2666 16gb
The WD greens are at capacity for Plex Server. I do need to keep a few 3.5" drives for storage. As far as adding an SSD or M.2 I could do that for the gaming aspect. Any reason you chose the Phanteks fans over another brand?
CLEAN! This is awesome. Great job +1!
That's awesome. I have the same PSU and the 6GB of that GPU in my pc. Thank you
Those are both reasonable and helpful. Thanks for the help. I do like M.2 as well but $$$$ haha
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
I just did this and the price is RIDICULOUS lol
That's solid. I appreciate that. I like the thermaltake fans. What can you do with a white case and still make it beastly?
What does the cable management look like! I have the white version of this case and I'm looking for references/help! Thanks +1
That I'm aware of. However it's his budget, and I have to take taxes and shipping into consideration. I appreciate your help
No problem. Thanks much. I'll probably get the cheapest DDR4 2666+. 2x 4GB sticks.
It's not overkill if you enjoy it! Good job +1
That's an mAtx, your other one was an ATX
Max budget is 400-450. Ram mobo and Ryzen.
That it does thank you.
I appreciate the input on Ryzen but the person can't afford the extra amount.
I'm laughing but in such a good way! This is epic. Not only the pc is a great build, the Corsair RAM looks nice in there. But the entire Star Wars theme is epic, right down to the backplate, and the x-wing in your plant. I love it! Congrats on the feature! +10!!!
That helped thanks
I tried telling him ryzen but he's set on i7 for whatever his reasons are
Thanks for breaking that down. He's a university student, so as far as what software he's using i'm unsure. Thank you!
Great build. Love the look of the corsair RAM. Also, love the b/w photos. Good job +1
That's helpful! Thank you
Very smart build! Great job +1
Super helpful! Thank you.
Dude I'm jealous! lol That's fantastic! +1
What the in actual F###! Dude this is by far the craziest looking build! Awesome job. Congrats on the feature! +10!
Great build man. Any chance you can fit the PS4 into a PC case? I've been debating on it lol +1 for the build and feature!
