Thank ya sir! I'll keep ya posted once she's finished. Gonna wait til boxing day see if I can snag some deals. Cheers
Yes I meant 2x 140 lol
What do you think about this? Will this handle good gamimg. And VR down the road with room to improve.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Finding the H700 for sale in Canada is hard. It's $200+ on Amazon.ca
I like the H500 as long as I can get the 2x 240mm fans in the front.
Did you have problems with cable management?
I wasn't aware of that with Seasonic thank you. I was looking at the Corsair RMX PSU's and was debating on those. Seasonic vs Corsair?
If you had to choose betwen the H500 and H700 black/blue NZXT what'd you go with? The client is leaving it up to me....he just wants blue/black.
Did you have any problems fitting the 24pin at the top of the white bar.
I don't mind the list it helps haha I originally looked at the X470 but was told it's more of an enthusiast board, and go with a b450. Client wants a good gaming rig, 1700$CAD, wants to do VR eventually so I went with the 2070 GPU. As far as OC, he never requested it, so i never took it into consideration.
Why the SeaSonic PSU over the EVGA?
If I have a Dark Rock Pro 3, I could use that I suppose. I was trying to find a 240 or 280mm cooler to place in the front of that case.
will it fit in the NZXT H500?
Here is the build.
With or without shipping?
With or without shipping?
Maybe 70 American lol. Not Canadian. But thank you for the tips! I didn't know that about the 3.5" drives. Thanks!
+1 Cable Management is A+!!
I'm doing a build in this case soon. Any tips!?
Thanks Dante that's a huge help. I'll look at the other GPUs you mentioned
$180 CAD. Not too shabby. What's better onboard wifi? or a wifi card?
I need one with wifi, or I need to add on this. Any suggestions on a B450?
Only going to be 2x 3.5" mechanical drives; one for now. No sli/crossfire. Just detailed gaming and eventually VR.
Dante, what's your thoughts on the 2070? Worth it? Go with something lower? Freesync GPU over Gsync
Winner! lol Thanks for the info, and the graph to show what you were talking 'bout. I think the 2600x will be best for what this customer is wanting; a gaming rig that can handle VR. Feedback on the GPU? Or am i good there? thank you
Mark can you run down why you chose the 2600X rather than the 2600. I see cheaper memory which is great. Why that specific PSU? Thank you
Thanks dante. I don't plan on changing the CPU. Appreciated!
Thanks for that info Root.
I read that intel was best for gaming, and that's what this client wants to do; so I went with the i5.
However the 1st gen Ryzen and a 2070 would do just as much at a lower cost. And yes Intel is expensive right now in $CAD. Thanks Carrier.
Great feedback Allan Thank you!
Solid job! I love it! +1
Never used water cooling. A decent 240mm rad should be ok though? Better than the be quiet dark rock pro 3 I have
Vega I always appreciate your help, what Vega would you recommend? And what cooler. be quiet DRP3 not good enough
Ignore that stupid question. What cooler do you suggest
I've been on the fence with a 1070/2070 or a vega 64. But i have read and heard that freesync cards require a lot of power and overheat.
It is a 2560 x 1080 yes.
Noted. Thank ya
Photo editing would be the only other thing.
Thank you. If I can pick up a used 1060 for 200$ would that benefit over the 1050. Or would it make much of a difference.
Thank ya sir. How come the change in mobo, and will the stock cooler not be enough?
Would you reccomend a GPU for this project? or will iGPU be enough?
worth looking into AMD for cheaper prices in CAD$? or are you suggesting intel due to the needs
Sorry, $300ish Canadian Dollar.
Imperious has a few points. Why did you choose that MOBO ?
is that because you're broke after this build? haha
WOW. Your fans cost more than my builds. Your 2x of your RAM purchases could do a build. But all in all just WOW. Badass looking build. I've seen Pauls' Hardware do his build with this case and I've been wanting to. Once I hit the lottery maybe haha Sweet build. Why just a 1080ti though? That's my only question +1
And thank you for the parts list. Those are the fans
The prices for 1070to vs 2070 are comparable I'm aware of that thank you. If I use extensions on that PSU it would be ok.
Yes those are them. And extensions are perfect, the PSU is hidden and don't want to spend $ where I don't need to. Thank you!
Thanks Imperious. I've seen Corsair fans I believe witha blue ring around 'em. Could you help me swap those out instead of the rosewill fans. AND is that PSU good if I wanted to add blue cablemod cables?
Why the 1070 8GB. Good enough for future Vr gaming?
Awesome job man! +1 Congrats on the feature!
Yes, Canadian prices are a bit higher haha. I'm not worried about RGB. I might get Corsair RGB Pro RAM down the road. As far as prices in CAD$, would you still swing for 2070, or 1070ti/1080 for high/ultra graming.
I like the MSI GPU. I think it'd look sleek in a black/silver build.
Thoughts on this Gigabyte. It's the cheapest 2070. I'm looking at prices of 1070ti vs 2070 and the 1070ti are almost more expensive :/
This Gigabyte is the cheapest 2070
