550w psu instead of 700W psu + 8 gb of ram instead of 16 gb + cheaper gaming set(mice, keyboard, mouse pad and headset)= way better gpu. (listed GPU is not same as yours but not important:) ) anyway have fun with razer build;)

Nice part choice. But the heat dispatched from cpu will directly pulled by gpu's cooling system. If I were you, I would prefer a new spot for fury's cooling kit.

Hi Jerendel, have fun with you build! I guess your monitor is 60hz, so the rest fps is useless plus these games are not too demanding. But anyway this is your hard earned pc so wish you good luck on these games :)

If you are a gamer, (guess from description) you should definately over paid the cpu. Because of budget inequality, GPU is lower quality than general build. Anyway a gpu upgrade is easy since you have a decent infrastructure :)

Maybe you can wait for full win10 and dx12, it will be more optimized for multi cores. Intel is good at single core performance, after optimization Amd will close the gap.

So you spent nearly 400$, same gpu and i7 to 8320. I guess waste of money for more cores and same gaming performance.

Well, depends on your part selection. But if I were you, I would go for more powerful one. As experts said, psu can lose 10% performance per year.

well, I was not hoping that psu can handle r9 290 and slightly overclocked i5 but suprisingly it is still working without any problem.

Why liquid cooler is not connected to anything? As i see from picture it is swinging on the gpu, maybe I am seeing it wrong. The light reflects too much on the side panel, clear photos will be apreciated.

Like other comments, the beast title is a little bit over-used. BUT it is normal to see your custom pc perfect, because it is unique to you. You have the necessary substructure. Adding a necessary gpu and a cpu cooler will increase your beats's strenght ;) Keep working on your machine.

First of all welcome to the custom pc world. You should invest more carefully for the next time, as an example 32gb of ram is useless. Plus you could prefer single R9 290 (or x) rather than crossfired 280s. Finally 1600w psu is a little bit overkill. But this is your unique pc, so have fun :)

Comment reply on bsr387's Completed Build: Pc LevelUp

Well huge upgrade after r9 270, also prefered because lot cheaper than gtx 970. Performs well (used mainly in bf 4 and farcry 4) general fps in 1080p is around 85 and 60. Also heat management is good, never reach more than 70 celcius on automatic fan settings. Only thing to worry is the huge size, card is so long.

I was considering to buy too. Actually even the card still performs amazing at 1080p (during benchmarks cards are already defected but yet impressive), because of the advertisement, I cancelled to buy them. Now waiting for the r9 300 series :(

Nvidia's response is a joke. What kind of marketing and engineering can do such hardware fault. Engineers told them it is 3,5 but marketing don't let them and publish as 4? :) Since he is using eyefinity setup, vram and bandwith will be an issue, after 3,5 is fully used minor fps decrease will start. And yes you are right gtx 980 is perfectly fine yet expensive.

I use same CPU with MSI 970a g-43. Same as yours, overclocking become extremely unstable after 4.1 Ghz because of mobo's 4+2 power design :/ In my opinion that vrm fan is creating loudness rather than cooling. When I research internet, become jelious of 4.6 or more clock rates. All we can do is change mobo or go intel :)

Comment reply on nawaznoahsheikh's Completed Build: Budget Heavy Gaming/Heavy Video Editing PC for Student Filmmaker and Light Gamer

I am using fx 6300 so it is 95w cpu results may be different for you. According to my experience when I clocked to 4.1, everything is fine but after that, very unstable. And when you brick your mobo, you have to reset bios manually. What I personally recommend is use turbocore, nothing more unless necessary since gpu won't bottleneck your cpu.

that mobo is 4+2, dont recommend overclocking. I am using same g43 with fx 6300, and believe me it is a garbage.

economic yet powerful pc. I guess 750ti is not a monster so high end cpu is not necessary. If you choose fx series you have to spend money on am3+ boards, same as intel side so my opinion you can wait a little bit for proce drops. +1
