Yeah it's intentional. I didn't buy a super clear window because I wanted a softer glow look when my lights are on. So I bought frosted plexi instead. (but the lights are out of it right now)
Chroma 4:4:4 is more important for text. Gaming when you sit far away isn't that big of a difference. But when you use a TV as a monitor, you need the fine details to make text render "better". Basically it's wayyy more legible when you sit up close to a monitor and you read text such as a webpage and such.
I upgraded to the AsRock when my buddy wanted a system too and I sold him my old board. I just prefer the placement of the SATA ports on the AsRock as the SATA ports were very very tight in the NCase with the Gigabyte
I found the NH-L12 on ebay brand new for $30. Couldn't pass it up. Also I went with the EVGA FTW because my friend bought 2 and I bought one off of him when it first came out and was really hard to find.
That's in the works.
yeah I actually intend on getting red or white sleeved cables.
That was exactly why I chose a waterjet method. I wanted the clean cut. There's a place by my house that does custom jobs for $40. I just gave them a design I did in Adobe Illustrator and it took them a few minutes.
I can't believe you made out the headphones from the small picture/angle. I love them btw.
Yes Windows 10. It's just Rainmeter and a dock app on the bottom.

haha.. yes I did Rambo it. I figured it's just the inner chassis and I won't see it that often so it'd be fine.
I run Forza Horizon 3 in 4k at max settings at 60fps all day. But I don't do a lot of other types of gaming like FPS so it doesn't really matter to me. I play mostly racing games and the occasional Overwatch which it handles just fine.
I also take a hit because I use a TV instead of a monitor. Stuck at 60hz.
Yeah I've since managed the cables a bit better. The red floppy sata cable isn't so obvious anymore. But I haven't updated pictures.
Yeah I plan on going M.2 soon as well as some custom cables. But I've done the watercooling/AIO route and I honestly prefer the simplicity and the minimal performance hit of an air cooler.
Thanks. I didn't even realize it was on the front page til now. Honestly.. there's so many other builds deserving of it other than mine.
I don't understand. Is there a list of featured builds or something?
You mean my rainmeter?
Reasonable temps.. yes. But it could have been better. The fan on the C7 actually started to make a weird noise on me.. kinda like grinding or something with the bearings... so I swapped it out for the NH-L12. But the size was nice.
There is a very very slight input lag. But I do a lot of graphics work and I like having the huge screen real estate.
Thanks to you, I decided to go with the Noctual NH-L12 also. Coming from the Cryorig C7. Wasn't sure it would fit but your pics sure helped.
