noice you decided to cut the side were the gpu slot is... had the same problem little tricky fitting a 3 fan GPU in it... but its fun ... you can add 2 more slim Noctua fans on the bottom just buy a 6 port Fan Header (thermaltake) its cheap and does the work... good build :D
where did you get the elusive chopin? im trying to find it.. no luck T_T
can you post more pics pls? :D
i just bought a gtx 1070 strix for $ 586cad you got way cheap lucky you :D, i was looking for specs and how it would fit the case! thanks for the pic! thought i made a mistake ... :D
that sexy klipsch pro media 2.1 :D gotta love em
i am not quite into OC'ing (but maybe in the future :D) the MB is not capable of it it and needs to be a Z series board to do it as far as i know...
still No OS yet... will update hehe
thats good to hear well maybe or could be bad ram sticks from other people.. is the ram output voltage in your bios 1.485v too? just curios... mine shows 1.485v but undervolted it to 1.35v still am trying to choose a good OS... so i have no test if it is stable on 1.35v
Nice build btw.. we have the same MOBO.. and would like to ask you if you are using a lower voltage ram by any chance... I heard that skylake CPU doesnt like DDR3 1.5V? any issues by any chance ? right now i have a hyperx fury 1.5v 16gb...
it wouldn't bottleneck... my issue was the ram voltages... (an i5 3.3 quad core with an AMD GPU that is on Par with the GTX960, i dont thinks so......? and not that i know of....)
i had bought a DDR3 (1.50v) not DDR3L(1.35v).. see, the only thing that i got careless was the RAM.. not knowing that skylake supports DDR3L which is low voltage... but the Asus Motherboard Supports DDR3/DDR3L and also Listed in their QVL is the RAM i bought which is 1.50V, now if the MOBO supports 1.5V (in which in BIOS settings shows 1.485V only and not 1.50V) that is my dilemma, would this volt 1.485v be sufficient not to damage the CPU over time? maybe by "Under-Volting" the RAM by 1.350v if it becomes stable thru certain memtest.. would i not need to send the RAM back to where i bought it.. that is my predicament .. :)
no worries _^ nice gaming btw saw your build..
W7 indeed if only i can find an installer hehehe... weird in what way for the parts btw?
running on 1.350v now.. whew.. not used to the new UI from asus.. all i need is my OS then do some stress test from there... basically it says auto but u can change the variables... its been a long time since i built and configured one... sheessh ^, gonna update some soon...
I checked the bios to see if i can adjust the voltage, and since i dont have OS yet cant do tests... i cant adjust the RAM timings .. no option?!
but it is running @ 1.485 and set to auto...
its an ITX build. it wouldn't fit the case
Yes i realized that after i got the parts... wonder though if i can undervolt the ram instead...
