Thanks for the help! Installed the latest drivers and no problems!
Post more pictures please, also I would appreciate a description on your part choices.
Also, non-OCable CPU with a $250 Z97 board? I guess maybe if you intended on upgrading eventually but otherwise you could have saved a good bit of cash if you bought an H97.
I would appreciate if you could write something justifying your part selections, maybe some more pictures too?
Your lack of proper internet etiquette is beginning to disgust me.
No need to be rude, you can provide constructive criticism but there is no reason to talk trash.
I'm going to guess you'll take your pants off when you look at some pictures on this machine?
Keep in mind that he didn't enter custom prices, so they will appear to be overpriced when the OP really probably paid a lot less.
Hybrid crossfire can give a good performance boost and match the power of a $150 GPU.
I highly suggest you buy a R7 250 to complement your build.
Your case does not look at all like the Air 540.
That's one heck of a toaster oven you got there.....
Vague description and only one pic....
At only $150 more than a PS4, you get a better overall experience! Great choices!
Why the old i5, when you can get a newer one for the same price? Just wanted to ask.
Self aware of the bad cable management and has a $150 case.
If you actually care about this PC I would get a better PSU.
How does the 860k compare to an i3?
I plan on building a computer for playing CS:GO in my TV room.
Micro Center much?
Nice build too!
Read the description.
However please buy a better power supply. Your unit is scary and it would be a shame if a great build was destroyed by your PSU.
Also, why the old i5?
GTX 460<"Next Gen" console
Not to mention that CoolMax should be put in the quarantine zone of notoriously bad power supplies.
Why the nVidia 660? That GPU is pretty old by now.
+1 however for sharing a nice build
Sorry, but you could have done much better.
Maybe he bought the 780 earlier or got it for free.
Please post more pictures. This build looks quite nice aside of the fact that your details about the build are so vague.
The case is beautiful. +1 for that.
Aside from the name, +1 for the good build. Although you probably overpaid for the CPU and HDD.
Just a question, why did you go with 4gb RAM? Why not 8?
And the pics are still great quality. So why not have both quality and quantity?
If I were you I would get a better CPU cooler. It's a shame to have great overclocking parts but be set back by the cooler.
Why the 660? That's an old card now.
Honestly I'm surprised that nVidia hasn't phased out the 660.
Overpaid on the 760. But +1 for everything else
There is usually only a $10-20 premium for 2133 RAM. It's worth the extra price if you're going to be working with an APU. Even if you're getting a different CPU it would be a smart idea to get the best of both sides(ie fast ram and discrete GPU) and pay up the extra $10 or $20.
Great build, really now the downvoting over the name "beast" is just getting annoying.
Your computer farted.... +1!!! COOL STORY BRO
For $180 a R9 270x or a GTX 660 would have been your best choice.
Get more pics pls
+1 because it's a pretty nice build for 2 and a half years ago.
First time seeing somebody use a Kaveri A8. Maybe test some games and share what you get?
Looks like a good build. +1 but please post more pics.
I like it. Now get to work on overclocking the CPU!
Why the 3470s?
don't feed troll
Did you plug in CPU connector from the power supply? Because you need that to get the computer to boot.
Why an older i7 extreme? If I were you I would have bought a newer CPU. Any explanation for it?
+1 for the awesome paint job
