Comment reply on Forum Topic "Do internal sound cards really sound any different than external?"

I have the Z370-A PRO and the Logitech G430 included sound card. I use a Status Audio CB-1. I tried on-board, and it was just not right. The G430 sound card is amazing, even with the occasional glitch of one side working when turning on the PC. Simply unplug it and I’m good to go.

Kind of. You can just use Windows without a product key, but there are some missing features that way, and an annoying watermark.

My PC never tells me it updates nor do I get notifications, I always have to do it manually now. Although I may not want to be updating yet, for future ones I'd like to be able to get them. I once disabled something because my PC would turn on in the middle of the night to update and it disabled updates until I reenabled it.

Could you recommend anything that has clicky switches and meets my requirements? I have also been thinking about a TKL keyboard instead, but I am not sure if I will benefit from it honestly.

A 2400G is recommended because the on-board GPU is basically a GT 1030, saving a bit of money.

For future reference, the reason the 2400G would be a better choice is because the GPU is basically a GT 1030.

It will. I HIGHLY recommend a Cryorig C7. Also, I recommend a Intel Pentium G5500, which requires a B360 motherboard.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Help me pick the *perfect* keyboard?"

Honestly, I’d recommend he changes his Fortnite keybinds to mouse buttons or nearby keys. Using the F1-F5 keys isn’t really useful for most people. If he absolutely must use the F1-F5 keys, then I honestly don’t know a full-sized keyboard with the F1-F12 keys close to the numbers.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Hz and FPS"

  • 2 points

The Hz of a monitor is basically the amount of frames that can be seen per second. If you were to be getting 120FPS on a 60Hz monitor, you will only see 60FPS but the game will run at 120FPS. If you were getting 120FPS on a 120Hz monitor, you will be able to see all 120FPS. I am not sure how FreeSync or G-Sync work however.

You should get a Corsair PSU because this one is not professionally reviewed. I’d look for reviews on tomshardware and jonnyguru.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "My First Build for 1080p at 144hz gaming"

Non-professionally reviewed PSU and no GPU? Also, Intel is better for 144Hz. I recommend a Corsair CXM 2017 PSU. A GTX 1070 is ideal for 144Hz, but a RX 580 or GTX 1060 6GB is good.
