https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/6e2hrj/the_unproductive_productivity_setup/?st=J3AR0097&sh=6998e884 Hey Aerys this is my setup in /battlestations if you're curious!
https://pcpartpicker.com/b/GYTBD3 I listed it somewhere in here, comments have some instructions too
WOW. I didn't know you were using the 1080Ti version of the card. Even though it is thicker than my 1080, you still managed to get it to work. Black looks great on the card. I might need to copy how you routed your liquid cooler cable behind the 24 pin cables :D
Nice build! I like the quicksilver color too.. but I had to paint my red/black gpu white. +1 keep it up
No problem! Let me know how it goes!
I couldn't remove the red stripes. After I took off the shroud and led logo, I painted the red stripes black while still attached to the casing. I removed the red stripe led completely
Nice build! you should paint the gpu white like my build. +1
Oh that was the lights from the Motherboard itself lol. The Asus z270-a Prime has that corner RGB for some reason. Hope this clears up any confusion :)
no, it wouldn't be visible. I have 4 strips running on each side of the tempered glass
nice card! I wish I didn't have to paint mine.. +1
Nice choice in parts! I love my s340 elite! +1
great build and selection of parts! +1
Nice build! kinda like mine :D
He needs to paint the gpu like mine :D
OP look at my build. It's very similar but I painted my card white. +1
theres a connector right under the fan connector. all connected via screws. you do not have to take out the back plate this method.
Unfortunetly I did not. But if you read my comment below that's how I did it step by step
I put the first fan in CHA1 slot and second fan in the CHA2 on the motherboard
you're welcome! and good luck!
the shroud was easy to remove. 4 screws that are all accessible between the fans. I detached the led part from "red stripes" completely. you'll also need a 6star screw for the rgb msi logo to cover the red part. I used a black sticker I had laying around and cut it so it covers it completely. 4 coats of plastidip each. All this without breaking the warranty sticker :D. I hope this helps
Nice build! +1
I used white Plasti-dip on the red shroud and black plasti-dip on the red stripes. Had an old sticker that was black and cut it so it fit the red part on the led
The rgb makes my pc perform better
Thanks! I pretty much based the color scheme from that gpu lol
