I didn't. I left it for warranty purposes. That's how it work here in Philippines. :)
It is just a pass-through(an hdmi expension). You can plug it at the back of the mobo, there's a hole at the side of the case. Sone Video card has hdmi port inside, you can plug it there too. It is for VR ease off access purpose.
Sadly no logo on the side nor lights.
That's my xperia and some lighting techniques. :D
Mainly budget issue, prices here in PH are crazy due to many markups. But what I mostly play are casual to midcore ranging from Rocket League and The Crew. So far, fans are not spinning (temp<60deg). Machine is for game dev also. 970 is the baseline for VR games and I may need to do some work on that and based on my research, 1060 sits on top of 970. :)
Hhmm, what I can say is that I want it to be minimal, on budget, and not to extreme for my first build. :)
I originally plan for a white S340, but the elite version came. The internal color scheme of the White S340 have changed. Before, it was a mix of black and white but it is pure white now in the elite that's why i opted for the black one.
Thank you for your input. MSI rep said that it is an indicator for Mobo getting power and can be turned off in the BIOS.
Just want to ask if the white LED(+/- symbol) at the corner of the chipset block does stay on and what does it mean?
