Nice build man. Those fans on top should both be exhaust by the way for optimal airflow, but otherwise its a clean build.
I already ordered a Founder's Edition. :( I didn't even know EVGA offered a program like that that's so cool. I may return this one closer to 30 days since even if I wanted an EVGA 1070 I'd be paying upwards of $500 with the current mining fiasco.
Hell yeah dude I'll let you know when I buy in! It may be a few weeks since I'm currently getting all the parts together for this new build.
I also have a 3V GT 2008, but it's metallic ruby. Yeah I'll def use your code! I'm currently rebuilding my new PC with a GTX 1070 so I'm hoping it's more stable using a single gpu versus crossfire.
Hey someone else with a Mustang! Ya know I never thought about making my PC match my GT. Great build man! That metallic blue turned out great and nothing like a portable, yet powerful rig. I only ever tried Star Citizen during the Free Fly sometime last year and that was on an R9 295X2. It wasn't that well optimized then (lots of memory leaks, framedrops and server instability) so I may actually buy into it and see how much has changed.
Nice build man! Nothing like a custom loop. The lighting on that 3rd picture is unreal it looks like its 3D rendered.
Nice build! It's always such a good feeling when you know you earned something! I really like that S340 Elite been thinking about getting one because of that awesome tempered glass.
Nothing wrong with that. I use a K70 with a G502
A 6700k bottlenecking?? Lol what world are you in
Nice build! I play a lot of Siege and one of the main reason's I upgraded GPU and overclocked my CPU was framedrops on Favela lol. That map just has something going on there.
So much power! You really need to consider looking for a Z170/Z270 board to let the 6700k reach its full potential. Nice build!
You, uh, really over inflated your prices there lol
The only thing I'd recommend is to flip the fans around so the radiator works as an intake and the two rear ones exhaust hot air out since hot air always likes to rise out of a case, thus improving the cases air flow. Really nice build though I really like the color scheme
Yes! Team RED! Nice build man.
This is SO CLEAN! I love the light blue glow the light gives off. Awesome build!
I can't get over how cool that new Kraken looks. I really want one lol. Nice build man! Oh, you might want to clean your floor I noticed you had some trash in the first pic (; jk tho I also have a ps4.
It does come down to the user. I was just looking at forums and reviews, but I do agree that the new boards do offer many features I'm interested in. The main one being the dual M.2 slots. It is pretty dang cool that it is now possible to not even need an ssd or hdd anywhere in the case!
Upgrading from skylake to kabylake is not worth it unless you want that extra .3-.4ghz in overclock. Nice build though this color scheme always reminds me of winter, but not in a bad way! It's like a frosty winter build!
You have a great foundation for whatever gpu you get! This pc is great and the 760 should work just fine!
The outside of that anti static bag is actually not safe to test on because the bag requires the closed environment of the inside to be anti static.
Very nice build! I absolutely can't avoid a green and black build they are my favorite!
The RGB really makes this look alive! I do agree that a water cooling loop would make use of all that available space and I think just some proper research on forums and videos should get you going.
Ah, nothing like a dirty leak to ruin your day
Wow! This is what an all around gaming setup should look like! Great job man.
If this is honestly your first build you did a damn good job! Nice build!
Nice build man! I don't get why people complain about color scheme I, personally, only care about the parts, performance and overall cleanliness like cable management.
I hope you don't have a patent pending on that GPU stand lol because I am going to use your idea. Very nice PC I didn't even think it was possible to fit SLI Zotac Extremes in ANY case ha!
Well, these pictures definitely prove that MSI does not have the patent for the PCI-E slot reinforcements and only Gigabyte does.
HOW did you get your hands on an x62?! I've been trying to order one and it says they're back stocked until January! Nice build though.
You can type it in yourself manually and go from there. Increments of .010 are safe bets. I'd try for 4.5 at 1.25 and go from there.
Well you just get high temps and or instability depending on what voltage you use. Also, damage is possible.
Typically, it seems 1.35V is the average for 4.6Ghz, but it all comes down to how good of a CPU you got. Start low and increase slowly is the rule.
The lower 1070 doesn't have one of the 8-pin cables connected. Did you just forget to connect that for the pictures? Otherwise, great build this thing will destroy anything at 4K.
Nice build! I recommend you don't use the automatic OC and instead manually OC your CPU because those auto OC's tend to use pretty high voltage for frequencies that usually do not need it. A program like CPU-Z will show you what voltage you're at if you notice temps a little high.
Nice build! How's the temps on those crossfire 480's? That is a really powerful PSU though lol.
Whoa, I've never seen a full loop added to an H240 until now. How's it holding up? Very nice looking build though!
Awesome budget build! An overall great parts list for that price, but I bet you could find a used 770 or 960 for pretty dang low nowadays if you do some searching. Just an idea, but nice job.
That air cooler though! Wow, I love me a white and black PC. All we need now is more pictures!!
Definitely liking the orange! Great job. Those SLI 1070's will destroy anything at 1440p.
Nice job on the build man! You shouldn't worry about Ram speed because it really does not matter that much as long as you get a quality name brand. The 970 is still a powerful card and going SLI with it will put you on par in performance to the 1070. You can SLI any of the 970's, but I think it's recommended to SLI the same brand just to avoid any possible issues. EVGA has the ACX, SC, SSC, FTW, Hybrid, Classified and Kingpin, but using any of these together should definitely be ok.
Ah, the struggles of a first time PC builder. Nice build though! I've never heard of that xbox dvr thing. Hope everything's working fine now because that 1060 should be running everything at 60fps on 1080p!
Microatx builds are awesome! I always like seeing how you can fit such a powerful PC into a small box. Nice job! I will say that you and I have different views on what is considered a "budget" build though lol.
Nice build! How's the noise with that cooler? I'm assuming it couldn't be that loud, but I'm just wondering if, considering its size, it is actually fairly quiet.
It shouldn't if you properly overclock without getting the voltage too high. I'd recommend you look into it since your cooler should be able to give you a decent overclock on the CPU. GPU is really easy to overclock also if you don't mess with the voltage.
Not only is it a full AMD build, but you used hard piping to make the barrel?! That is F*** amazing! This is such a creative build! I would be extremely disappointed if it doesn't get featured! Is that barrel part of the loop?
That Noctis 450 is such a nice looking case. This is a really clean build! The red really compliments the rest of the white components.
Make sure you look into the EVGA overheating issue, but otherwise nice build. I would recommend upgrading to the 6600k just because you already have the motherboard to overclock it and the price difference is quite minimal at the moment with the current sales going on.
Nice build! I really like these transparent open air cases. Really nice that it lets you see the front of the GPU.
That cooler is really quite the sight. Is the 2500k overclocked? If so, how is that cooler holding up?
You definitely know how to use your resources properly. I could never budget out a build this powerful for that much. Hell of a good job man!
