Sorry for the delay - Yes should do - should be able to tweak the SSD / Optical frame
Sorry been away. Hope it went ok... only tip I could give is mind you hands!
CPU temp should be fine with a decent stack fan.
12mm... no don't think a 25mm will
This is the one of the only ones that does.
Drives the Rift and the Vive perfectly. Elite / Eve Valkyrie / all run flawlessly. Drives elite at a pretty high ( not sure exactly but smooth ) frame rate in 4K too
The only issue I cam getting is the Rift loses connection now and then. Not sure if that is a USB issue on the MB or the GPU... plug them in and out and it works fine.... Note this only happens when it's in standby - not in use.
Yes It was an addition after the main build. Tight but there are about 5-7mm between them - Sucks air into and over the GPU.
Ah didn't even know the PC-Q01A one even existed. Looks great! And NO silly slot for those old Optical thingaijigs.
I'd have stuck to the case I used as it needs to be carry on compatible.... I got a nice Samsonite carry on today and have modded it a bit with some foam to carry the Computer and Rift. I've posted some pics
Cool - What's up with the prices though? Odd.
I do have a few cuts on my knuckles!
Oh I agree it's an awesome case. If they actually sorted out a proper sales channel and I didn't have to wait I might have bought one.
But the M1 is really if you want a full size card - I wanted the Nano R9 and my case is actually a lot smaller
160 x 250 x 338mm - M1
149 x 254 x 244mm - PC-Q21
I did find out that the M1 is actually manufactured by Lian-Li
and you can buy a Lian Li / ASUS ROG Box based on the M1 - PC-Q21
What is cool at the bottom there is the Q17 next to a pink(!) Q21 so you can see how crazy small the case is!
Luckily the SFX Cables are not very long.
Yep perfect... but,,,
$40 1-2 weeks Air Shipping

$255 for an ITX case is nuts.
