The CPU used to overheat under load, but i recently stuffed some NF-A12x25s in the GPU compartment and haven't crashed since.
Where did you get the pump/res from for 40? EK sells theirs for like 160.. little bit out of my price range lol
I put some 3M automotive double sided tape on each of the struts of the fan casing. 1 of these matched up with the heatsink, but it still holds up after a lot of movement and 5 months of use.
Gaming performance is probably about equal to a 1050 ti, but that 2gb of vram is going to start holding you back in the newer games very soon.
It runs alright, but in the small GPU chamber of the node 202 it gets hot and noisy. It wasn't loud in the actual desktop though, so take that as you will.
I go to Western Michigan, actually
I'd recommend getting some cheap dust filters for the radiator fans, it will save a lot of time cleaning when the fans are out in the open like that.
Thats a reasonable cube
Doesn't ryzen have an issue where it reports CPU temps that are 20 degrees higher than the real temps?
Linus doesn't care about breaking his cpu though, because he knows intel will give him another one for free
Anyone got the picture of the confused looking black guy? It needs to be posted
I knew a guy who tried it and now his motherboard is sticky and smells like lemons. He tried to RMA it but asus wouldn't help him at all for whatever reason...
Are you planning on getting a third cool ranch doritos for 3 way sli?

I'm curious to see how the fanless cooler performs when the cpu is overclocked.
Somebody once told me PCMR is gonna roll me, I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed
Why not use an i7? Is the price argument even relevant on a 5k build?
Or instead of 2 1tb drives you could have gotten a single 2tb drive for around 40$ cheaper and then partitioned it.
Skylake takes ddr4 ram, meaning that the ram cannot be under 2133 mhz. There is support for up to 4000 mhz
Why the 16 gb?

Are you planning on SLI 980tis
But can it run Mario Paint?
I didn't see tests that showed a 6700k being out preformed by a 4790k. Source?

Also are you going to get a 980 ti or sli with the 970 you have?
I like how the headphones are the most expensive part in this build
with that much money you could buy a reasonably large african country or an xxl popcorn at my local movie theater
I would have upgraded gpu before the cpu, but to each their own I guess!
And then after lunch I opened my case and found a bar of solid gold inside! What a deal!
