Sorry on the late reply mate! With a few tweaks I think I found confortable place. I love the monitor, the G-sync makes the difference in the panel worth it. And for the price you cant go wrong! Settings: Brightness 57 Contrast 50 Gamma 2 Overdrive Medium - USER Red 57 Green 60 Blue 62

Yes, i did have some issues with the H100i link. at one point i basically stopped recognizing the device. Just by using HWinfo. But I was able to bypass the problem by denying the Link control. I have now reached a Stable overclock on the CPU @ 4000MHz and stable at 41 degrees. Ranked 1274 points in CineBench (from 1089 stock clock)

They really did! But not only are they an amazing piece of hardware but they also look really good! The 5 way optimization helps a lot to get safe OC to start from which cuts a few hours from the tweaking process! Only thing they advertise and I cannot really test is the "exclusive overclocked CPU socket with extra pins." Yes they are there. No, not sure if theyre doing anything...

I did think that, but seems like white takes the blue effect away, at the moment the 980SC is blinking white and the Corsair H100i pump swaps between White and Blue :)

No Photoshop was used AT ALL, I promise, you can download and check the photos yourself! Ye, these LEDS give the White a very sick look. They are stated on the build, They are the Akasa Vegas LEDS 60cm strip (x2), ordered them from scan.co.uk for 8 pound something each. thnaks for your comment :)

Thank you! Well the build cost me about 1600£ ( taking out the monitor) cuz I built it over a couple of months to take advantage of the volatile price in hardware. At the end, I think every £ was worth it :)

The X99 is just beutifull! And that LED they inserted on the back of the board to illuminate the division between the soundboard and the motherboard makes the cherry on top! Installation wise was quite easy, didn't run into many issues, even tho i;m still messing around with the BIOS. Mounting the H100i couldn't be easier since you don't even need to put a backplate, just apply the male/male screws and mount it with the thumbscrews on top! Also have to say the difference between silent and performance mode on this is about 3 to 5C and a lot of noise. The silent mode suits all clocks! I haven't tried a Nepton 280L so I cannot compare but I can say I am very happy with my choice, the Corsair-Link option on both the Power Supply and CPU cooler also helped with the decision. Thanks for your comment, if you have any more questions feel free!

That was my aim when I started this build but then noticed that all the g-sync monitors at the time were TN models. I decided to go for a 1080 on the idea that in a few months well have better colors on 1440p with more friendly prices. Thanks!

I am not very skilled in Overclocking really, I bought this rig and invested a bit more in high quality components so they can be a little forgiving :p as it is, I disagree, maybe if i doubled up my GPU
