Hi, your build is 1 above mine right now for the most upvoted builds of all time.
You deserve WAY more than that.
All the Fans are 140mm.
Two intake in the front
Two Intake on the bottom
Two outtake for the radiator on the top
and one outtake at the back.
You are welcome
Number 17 now :D
Because I built this when DDR4 and X99 series processosr were just released, the markup was crazy expensive.
A year and half later and my build is #16 all time :D
How is your build going?
Right now, your build and my build are tied for #16 most upvoted, but you clearly ******* deserve it.
+1 for sure.
I actually got the 5820k for $299 because of a sale at microcenter :)
I like your icon :)
Good choice :)
I have upgraded the 980 to a 980TI, replaced the 256GB SSD with a 512GB one, and braided my 6pin cables.
This is my PC now:
As for your PC:
Cooler: Get an h110i instead of the H100i. Cooler, quieter, and more reliable.
SSD: Get one 512GB m.2 SSD instead of one M.2 and two SATA SSD's.
PSU: Get a Corsair RM 750i. Much more reliable and much better looking than the SuperNova.
Optical Drive: Unless you watch a lot of blu-ray movies, you probably won't need this. Optical drives are pretty much unless now.
Everything else looks great! :D
I know, but this is hands down the best looking X99 mobo.
I regret nothing!
Why would I buy another Swift?
IPS is nice, but not another $800 nice.
I actually made it myself in Adobe Illustrator. I just printed it out on vinyl paper and cut it out with an exacto knife.
I'll trade ya :P
Yea, I really should have add more information.
No problem :)
Glad you liked it.
I don't see why not.
Well i'm stupid :P
I think I read about half of your description then decided to scroll down to see the monitor you were using before I finished reading it.
Great build though! (I would also recommend 1440p 144hz over 4K)
Please tell me you are not using a dual 980TI system on a 1080p 60hz screen ಠ_ಠ
At this price range you should be using either a 4K monitor, or a 1440p 144hz screen!
Well the 980TI was released 4 months after I build this.
I do have an EVGA 980TI SC in this PC now, I just have not updated the pictures because my camera broke :(
Yea, the 850 evo is such a better deal than the 850 Pro.
It's DDR4. They have not released Vengeance Pro's yet unfortunitly :/
Also Dominators are like double the price of regular DDR4. No way am I paying $400 for 16GB of RAM.
Go for the 5820k.
It's waaaaay better for editing than a 4-core i7.
Also ddr4 is almost the price of ddr3 right now.
It is the best CPU on the market for high end price/performance, even better than the new Skylake CPUs
I got it for $300 at microcenter too!
AND they take off an extra $40 if you buy it with an Asus X99 motherboard :D
I would totally go for it.
Thank you :)
No problem :P
I would recommend learning how to braid the cable. It's cheaper and way easier.
If you read the description, I worked at a video production company for an entire summer and earned everything myself.
I also in no way went by what most tech reviews suggested. I had over 6 months to plan this build and was constantly checking reviews, specs, and overall aesthetics of the part to fit my build.
Not actually sure...
Absolutely. They are the best speakers I have ever used.
On max volume the Bass is insane
Very quiet. Would recommend.
It's extremely easy to reconnect them, just push them in and they lock in place.
Getting them out is what is extremely difficult. You have to put an unbeliveable amount of force into pulling the connectors out and if you bend even one of the pins, the whole set of cables is broken.
ty for the +1 though :)
<3 Thank you
These kinds of comments make my day :)
You can just leave an upvote :P
Hell yes. I doubt you can find any speakers that are better at this price range.
