Nice Build. I like the SLI. I have a question... did you see any significant frame difference with the SLI compared to just the one 1080? I was thinking about doing 1080 SLI as well but I have heard mixed opinions on SLI.

I love Threadripper builds. There so rare and always insanely powerful! Also, that setup is fire.

Actually I just checked the clock speed of the 2080. The memory clock is actually 14 GHz.

Unless you are receiving the stream, I would add at least some kind of GPU. I have a streaming build with a gtx 770 with it and it is working at 98% while streaming 1920x1080@60hz. If you are receiving the stream you should be fine. Cool idea with the remote start and shutdown.

That build looks beautiful!!

BTW: I don't think your 2080 can boost to 14 GHz...

You got the 970 for almost half the price of a 1060 6GB and it is basically equal in speed: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-970-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB/2577vs3639. Great Build!

I also have made a Core V1 build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/Gs7WGX. Mine is air cooled because I was on a tight budget and I didn't think I could fit a liquid cooler inside of it. But I was wrong! You fit a custom liquid cooling loop in yours so... good job!

The CPUs not the problem it's the motherboard. Last time I OC my motherboard broke. So I'm not going to do that again.

That is a little bit of an exaggeration... I know what it sounds like.

Well, in price terms amd (almost) always wins. The GTX is better than RTX is just a joke. RTX is definitely better.
