Comment reply on vycelord's Completed Build: AMD Dream Machine (Minus Vega - Coming Soon!)

Im worried about the PSU + OCing. It could be the other hardware but I have to push 1.45v just to hit 4ghz+ , and sometimes when I game the PC crashes ,or sometimes when I do a cinebench bench it just shuts off. AIDA also shows voltages higher than all 3V @ 3.3, 12v @ 12.4 , etc etc

I cannot afford a better PSU right now because Ineed to sell my old rig and fury X to get funds for the best VEGA chip offers. I have a Corsair CS650M but thats 100w less but gold rated. Any suggestions?

Vega crossfire is the idea, depending on their core clocks and VRAM. if I can get a 8GB or 16GB single, ill pass on xfire

Thanks I love it, my intel 6700k build (if you look at my username builds) is just collecting dust after I got this beast, although I may have to sell it to get top end vega card.

Its good but not CRAZY GOOD. hardware swap I've seen them as low as 440-450, but still a beautiful deal. I'm sad I might have to upgrade from my RX480 if I get the Omen 1440p 32in monitor this month. Fury x is my only option.

Maybe I'm high on Ambien before bed or something... But your insides look like the environment from Firedtrike benchmark. Hard to explain exactly how, but look deeper.

I would definitely get an after market CPU cooler. Intel stock coolers are no good for k series. Don't fret though, I use a 35 dollar Hyper D92 CPU cooler for my 6700k @ 4.6ghz and get 77C max under full stress. Otherwise build looks nice, how is 4k TV for PC? I currently use 1080p TVs for my build but my 32 in is getting pixel burned, so I'm considering a budget 4k TV, as monitors are too dumb expensive

Then so RM series or even CS650M or 550M. Both are gold cert and will treat your components nicely. Nonetheless, awesome build!

Also don't buy another CX series PSU, they are very low quality. I got a CS650M for 49.99 from newest, microcenter also has RM corsair series for like 60 bucks. CX isn't any good from what i hear. I love my 650m though.

It's ******* beautiful. If I went to sleep right now and tried to dream of a dream build, it would be this. Maximum power, minimum space, yet still clean as ****, and a custom loop. You sir, are great, and so is your build. +1 x 1,000,000

I don't think it would have for him, he didn't say much about gaming and said that the Rx480 was even beyond his needs. Not to mention his budget. Anyway man, if you see this reply... sick build!! I love my 480 and that 5960x! Beautiful.

That monitor dude!! Send it my way, I'm stuck using my TVs because I don't like anything smaller than 30inches and can't find anything affordable at 30in+ and that build is sick man! Badass! Sit that next to an Xbox one and you couldn't tell the difference besides the 25x raw compute power haha. Nicely done sir. Nicely done.

Not too great, under ultra textures and a 1325 / 8400 OC and heavy gaming I max at about 85C @ about 2200rpm as I like to keep it relatively quiet. Thanks, it was a quick mod but I'd like to believe I did what I could given the tools available.

Sweet build! Live the RX480 and I will say it is a friggan blessing to run it alongside DDR4 memory and Sky/Kaby lake i7s. Wait til you experience it. If you check out my build its similar but is SFF. Velcro rolls will help with cases that don't allow any cablr management like mine, shows examples.

Enjoy your build, isn't it so damn fun building?
