In case you want to know if you use the thin 15mm Noctua fans you can actually position one over the CPU cooler as well.

I don't think it really does much for temps though on my build, but it's there if you want to.

I really like those DeskMinis. To bad more manufactures didn't pick on the STX form factor.

I was a little wary as I saw some users on the Ncase/hardforum complaining about the optical drives not working right in the upright position the Ncase requires.

Hows the optical drive? I skipped getting one for mine as I have an external, but it would be nice to remove that extra piece of clutter at some point.

Nice. How did you find the stickiness of the Gnome SSD Heatsink? The longer reviews of Amazon both say theirs eventually fell off.

You might consider the EVGA powerlink which will rotate where the power cords actually connect to the end instead of top of the GPU. https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-PowerLink-Support-Founders-600-PL-2816-LR/dp/B01MQ1YEYH/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500072617&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=evga+gpu+adapter

I love those HP Elite boxes. I buy them up refurbished to use as simple office machines at work.

To answer your question about the PSU off mode. The fan will stop when the PSU is under 41c, supposedly. It's unclear if there is an actual temperature gauge inside or if its just making a calculation based on how much load the PSU is carrying at a given moment.

That's the long term plan. But I've spent enough money for now.

thanks for the build. I was planning on an almost identical build and was a bit worried I might be cutting it close with a 450W PSU.
